I have never eaten anything I did not like at the Huisache. And believe me, they serve the best coffee ever. We drink water with our meal and finish off with coffee and maybe dessert. Try it - you'll like it!

We go here every time we have visitors come to town. Their menu is original and their food is fabulous. LOVED the blood orange mimosas.

We have frequented this charming spot in New Braunfels, Texas since it's early days. I have always loved the atmosphere, the art, and the decor. It consistently offers a great wine list and pretty great seafood for an inland location. However, we have noted a few slight changes over the last year. The wait staff which has always appeared thoroughly... More

My friends and I take a trip to New Braunfels every year during the Super Bowl weekend for food, music and fun. Our first stop every year is Huisache! The restaurant is within walking distance to the music scene near the downtown square, so we always start with an excellent meal before heading to the live band venues. The atmosphere... More

Being a thrifty traveler, its hard to find good eats sometimes. Expensive is anything more than 10$ per person. Huisache Grill was worth it! Although a small cup of gumbo soup was $4.75. That was a little overpriced. My girfriend and I split a cheezy burger. During ordering we told the waitress about our burger sharing. She returned with the... More

We were greeted warmly and told we had a 15 min. wait; it was only 7 minutes. Our server was excellent and I took his recommendation and had the soup of the day, chicken pot pie soup. It was great with my salad. Hubby had a lamb burger and he really liked it. Just an overall good dining experience. Not... More

We live in New Braunfels and consider this a favorite. We love to spend a Friday evening enjoying this place. If you go later, there is a little bit of a wait, but not a bad thing. The rear bar and outdoor lawn area offer a great atmosphere for socializing and having an import beer or some wine, usually ordering... More

Had the Californian sandwich with chicken tortilla soup for lunch. Sandwich is vegetarian but with the mushroom bacon it was great. Didn't need meat. The soup was stuffed with goodies. My wife had the three salad plate and it was also very good. Highly recommend the Huisache Grill.

After a few hours of the hustle and bustle of Christmas Shopping nice to stop into a nice quiet lunch with my wife and great food and a nice bottle of Cuvasion Chardonnay. Love the great staff, both kitchen and wait staff. The food is always great, menu has a great variety to offer from full meals to salads and... More
