It was kind of hard to locate at first. But once we found it, it was well worth it. The food was all good. We love especially the Asian Salmon salad. It was juicy and not dry and the mix of mango with the special sauce made it perfect!

I went with my husband recently for lunch. Even during the weekday, this place stays busy. Food prices are reasonable considering the items have a gourmet flare. We first shared the shrimp and green onion crab cakes served with a roumalade sauce. They were lightly sauteed and the sauce was nice and tangy. He had a burger and ate it... More

The Huisache is one of my favorite restaurants in New Braunfels, wine bar in the back--favorites are salmon in parchment paper, Parmesan breaded chicken breast, and grilled medallions--

Huisache grill was a great dining experience in New Braunfels, Texas. It's half a block off of the Main Street. We arrived without reservation on Saturday night at 8 pm. There was a half hour wait which seemed appropriate. The bar outside made the wait time fly by. The outside bar would be better if they offered table side service.... More

I am kind of sad to write this review. I have always enjoyed this place but my father has frequently had some issues with food and service. I never wanted to believe him but on Wed night I went there with him and his wife and it wasn't good. We all had soup which was great but two of us... More

Hard to decide if the best dish is the hot n crunchy trout or maybe the salmon Seattle style (baked in parchment paper), or the jalapeño cheese chopper with those spicy little pickles on the side - I don't even like pickles! Great wine choices too, along with very very nice service. No matter how busy they get (and it... More

We went on Valentine's Day 2015 at the recommendation of a friend. They don't accept reservations so the wait was long (nearly 2 hours) but time flew by because of the atmosphere. They had a grassy courtyard and an open patio where you could order drinks and appetizers. We waited in the grassy courtyard which was surrounded by adorable shops... More
