Large portions

You do feel a bit squeezed in with the long and narrow layout, but it works out okay. The service was prompt and efficient. The food was very good and in large portions for a very reasonable price. The Reuben, the kabobs and the flame burger were our favorites.

The first thing you will notice is the shape of the restaurant. It is narrow and long. This suits the bar well. The bar is very long with plenty of room. The seating area is not large so waiting for your table at the bar is suitable arrangement. The menu is diverse and food is good. While in Gruene this... More

Seriously, loaded with kraut, spicy mustard and get the skinny fries on the side. This is a great alternative to the long lines at other restaurants in town. TV's always have sporting events on…fast service…just sit at the bar. Always eat here when driving thru the Hill Country.

Fun little sports bar. The burgers are great! Bar is average. No rye whiskey or good cabs :-/ Small place, but easy to get seated. The service is average mainly because they don't have enough staff.

When you walk in the bar figures prominently and the tables are fit into the room left over. Don't be fooled, though. The food is quite good and very diverse. If you like a Reuben sandwich then be sure to order it here.

This is a very long and narrow bar restaurant. Because it has a high ceiling and wood flooring it will be loud. Our waitress was in training and being followed by an experienced waitress who stayed behind to correct anything. The wait staff is young...college age, yet efficient. The menu is bar food with minimal main courses as far as... More

Came for a drink and it's a long and skinny building, no tables and loud, loud, loud.Younger crowds might enjoy the sardine effect.

Everything on the menu is good. Friendly staff. Great fresh salad. Highly recommend the Anticuchos - Shish kabobs, enough to have as a meal and very tasty.

Bar food elevated. Sliders are great. Fries perfect. Bartender pours correct, delicious drinks. Stop in with buddies to plan your next move.
