On a recent trip to Hill Country Texas we stayed in New Braunfels, TX The experience was really impressive. We ate well everywhere and McAdoo's was the best dining experience of the visit. This restaurant has it all amazing food, a truly excellent waiter, and a most charming ambiance. The restaurant occupies an old post office. The restaurant made good...

My Husband and I had lunch here last weekend!! He has been wanting to eat here, so we thought we would give it a try. It was awesome!! Great atmosphere!! I had the greek salad and stuffed shrimp & he had the muffaletta sandwich!! All was very tasty!
Based on some previous reviews and the restaurant's own website, I was optimistic about this place and our party of 4 went with high expectations. The setting is pretty neat -- an old renovated U. S. My husband and I had Sunday brunch at McAdoo's. We did make reservations. By observing, it was not necessary to have reservations - maybe it is different in the evening. The service was wonderful! And the food was really good! We had a Bloody Mary to start off. McAddo's has a Bloody Mary bar where you can dress your drink...

Not crazy about the building but their food could be served from a trailer and it would still be a hit. Good size servings, fabulous taste friendly staff
The seafood is nice and fresh and the restaurant is in a historic building in charming New Braunfels, TX. There is a charming bar with great libations. You can enjoy the lovely patio area. During crawfish season, they offer boiled crawfish on Wednesday nights. You should check out McAdoo's for a treat.
good food and good service but the price is too high. very costly and simply not worth the cost. the food is good, but not that good.
Joined friends during Happy Hour on Thursday of Spring Break. Read trip advisor reviews and expected noise level to be greater. Noise level was workable, unless you are looking for a quiet romantic spot. I was able to converse without raising my voice. Great prices. Snacked on MacAdoo's Boil and Mini Fondoo! Terrific. Beautiful outside dining area. A reason to...
