My husband was going to be working late, so I drove to Nacogdoches to pick up supper. I went to Cotton Patch because they have the best chicken fried steak around. My husband gets the large one with double fries and I get the smaller one with green beans and broccoli rice casserole. The steak has an amazing crispy crust... More

If you are looking for just down-home country cooking, this is the place. This is a great place for a family to come together and enjoy a great meal. Don't expect a fancy or appealing restaurant. it's simple. The food is tasty and reasonably priced.

I hadn't been here in a long time. The dining room is very dim and unappealing. The food is fine (both nothing special) and the service is ordinary. I won't return any time soon.

I'm new to the area and went to pick up a take out order so I did not eat in. I reviewed the menu online. The chocolate cake was delicious!! I would recommend. I also ordered the grill chicken and garlic mashed potato. I like that you can choose a bread item with your order.

Right out of the freezer and into the fryer. Nothing I can't get on the frozen food aisle of my local grocery store.

My husband and I both had the chicken fried steak. It was great. The crust was very crunchy and the meat was very tender. I had green beans and the broccoli/rice casserole. I had a house salad too. My husband had green beans and fried okra. Their vegetables are very fresh. We will definitely eat there again.

Susan and I just had Saturday lunch for the how-many-eth time at this no frills, down home style restaurant. It doesn't qualify for a premium o-my-goodness-sakes-alive best-meal-of-my-life award. No, it is just consistently consistent, with great home cooking type meals served by a cheerful, prompt, non-anxious college student wait-staff (Cody, today's server, was excellent). Thank you, Cotton Patch, for no... More
