My husband, Jon, and I went to The Jalapeno Tree Restaurant last Saturday night. We both had beef fajitas and they were great. They were very tender and I love to eat them with the Mexican butter that is served with them. Awesome meal!

Never had been to Nacogdoches and The Jalapeno Tree is fairly close to campus. Excellent service and standard menu choices. Everything we ordered was good but it's a little pricey for the setting.

We ate here today and the food was very good. The chips and hot sauce were perfect!! The service was excellent. The prices were ok, but will go back.

Consumers have many choices of Mexican fare in Nacogdoches. Of number one concern is quality, followed by value for my money. In my opinion Jalapeno Tree is not a good value for my money. My wife ordered the brisket taco (1) with a choice of one side. My wife chose refried beans. The taco had barely over two tablespoons of... More

My husband and I haven't eaten here lately, but we made a trip to Nacogdoches to eat there. I got the pick 2, which I got a crispy taco and a bean tostada.

We eat here at least once a week. We are always greeted with a friendly smile and service is very prompt. We tend to almost always order the ultimate fajitas for two - plenty of food and leftovers to go. The green sauce is delicious and one of the main reasons we originally kept going back.

Atmosphere was comfortable, service was prompt. Food was very bland. Salsas had very little flavor, fajitas were not marinated or seasoned, sauce on enchiladas was bland. There is at least one better option for Mexican food in Nacogdoches.

I go here mainly for the green sauce and tortillas. I have never had a bad meal here. The last time we went the service was a little slow but the food was good and we were not in any rush.

We are visiting the area on family business and a local friend recommended The Jalapeno Tree. We love Mexican food and can be kind of picky when it comes to Mexican restaurants. We had a great experience here and don't understand the negative reviews. First of all, the chips and salsa were excellent. Loved the hot sauce and the "white... More

Food is consistently good and servers are attentive and ready to help quickly. What I like is having managers come by personally and check on your meal. A couple of times I have set aside an item and it was either replaced or substituted. Love it.
