Long standing Nac tradition

Wow, I worked here back in college, 30 years ago and if things haven't changed (and it seems they haven't, even the menu is the same), Casa prepares everything but the desserts from scratch and uses recipes designed by the owners (yes his name is Thomas) grandmother,

Best margaritas and queso in town. Careful on the margs...they pack a punch. $1.50 for the small ones on most nites.

Casa Tomas in my opinion has the best Mexican food in Nacogdoches. I especially like the the charo bean soup. The service is always great. I also like that everything is prepared from scratch.

It's loud and not very pretty inside. The food is just okay and they certainly do give large portions. The service is good, too, even if it's a bit overbearing. Everything is fine--but it's such an uninteresting place. It's popular and cheap, but there's nothing about it that makes me want to return to it again. It's just very ordinary... More

This is a first rate restaurant and anyone traveling through the oldest town in Texas, Nacogdoches, should give it a try. Great food, great service.

When I pulled into the parking lot it was full of cars. I thought "Oh NO" long wait. When I got inside there was plenty of tables and chairs empty so no wait. They were very prompt bringing the chips and giving us our drinks. The food comes out very hot but is very tasty. I will go back again... More

We are locals so this is our favorite Mexican food restaurant in Nacogdoches, Texas. The queso is good, nachos, number 9 and my personal favorite beef chimichanga.

We got to Casa Tomas for lunchhour. In spite of a full parkinglot we got quick service and soon we were eating lunch. The food was good to very good with the quick and good service helping me push their rating to very good. We paid, gave them a tip, and we were off to other things.

A favorite for my family to go to after church on Sunday! I was in town for a while visiting my family and we went here EVERY Sunday. They have good specials and fresh yummy food.

We ate lunch here. Chips were good and got sauce was warm. I had the soup and it was good- just not hot enough for me. The others ate enchiladas and they said they were very good. Overall we had a good dining experience.
