Visiting from out if town and found it to be popular but the food is rushed and not so fresh. No matter how popular or busy; the customer deserves his $ worth. This is not the place. Sorry.

I have eaten here for over 3 decades and stop in every time I am in town. As usual, the margaritas were great and I tried the Rosita platter this time, which was very well prepared. Renee was my server and she did a fine job. The only drawback was the large, obnoxious group in the bar. They had obviously... More

We haven't eaten at Casa in a long time, but we went back this past weekend. I had the grilled chicken salad with fruit. It was yummy. My husband had the fajita beef tacos. He liked it too.

Sometimes the service is a little slow but the food is good. We haven't found our favorite Mexican food restaurant in Nac yet, but this one is okay. My husband likes the hotter jalapeno salsa which is $1.25. The nachos are good, and also the brisket tacos.

We went during an off time of day (4pm) so we didn't have any problems getting a table but when we drove by at lunch and dinner, it was very full and people were calling making reservations. The food was great and you get a lot of it. The salsa is acceptable but doesn't taste homemade. Our waiter, Kevin, provided... More

I love their customer service. From the hostess to the waitress their customer service was on point. But the food quality was terrible. The queso is hard after two minutes and taste like velvetta and rotel in a bowl. The brochette shrimp was unbearable spicy and the steak fajita was very tough and burnt. I was very disappointed

Family travels a lot so we eat out a lot. We walked in hostess seated us. We waited quite awhile until someone noticed we had been sitting there along time. Brought us some cold chips tasted like store bought ones. The salsa tasted like it was out of a jar. People came in after we did got chips and salsa... More

Our last visit to Casa Tomas was not a happy event (see my earlier review), but we stopped in recently, and found the food and service much improved. Consistency seems to be a problem, it depends on who is cooking, and who you get as a waiter. The drinks ( 3 margaritas on the rocks) were so strong that my... More

This place was recommended to us by some locals as the best place for margaritas in town. We went on a slow night and sat in the bar area. Service was ok, I think just one guy was working in our area. Margaritas were strong, just the way I like them. The shrimp tacos were overflowing with shrimp! Usually I... More

Always a lot of cars, so we tried it. Tacos sucked! Enchiladas were just okay. Salsa tasted like ketchup. Tortillas were not homemade. They only get 2 stars because the people were so so nice. This gringa's Mexican cookin blows this place away.
