You get soup, salad, bread, a side and you meal. A good amount of food. Had no complaints on the food.
It will cost you $40.00 after you have 20 miles off the Interstate from Houston to San Antonio. I have eaten here half a dozen times and it is the best steak in America. To get the same piece of meat in Dallas or Houston will, cost you $200.00. Loved the people & the story on the Steak and why... More
I took four friends to this restaurant and the food was good. They have lunch specials or you can order off the regular menu. Good service as well.
Stopped in about an hour before closing one night. Waitress was great, crazy and helpful. We ordered a couple of steaks, Excellent. This is a must stop when going through Moulton.
The food was good. The SMELL of the restaurant was a TURN OFF. This first thing I smelled was URINE, yes urine I assume from the carpet. It is old but with the humidity it is obvious that it is time to take out the carpet, paint and redo floors. Something to cut the smell. I don't think shampooing the... More
Who would belief a first class steakhouse would be located in a town of 886 people? This old western hotel has served as the Kloesel's restaurant for over 40-years through support from the surrounding small communities. I ordered a 16-oz end-cut prime rib that came aged and cooked to perfection. It was the best restaurant prime rib I have ever... More
We took our daughter and son-in-law for his birthday for dinner, and we were not disappointed. The soup, as usual, was excellent; salad, perfect; prime rib, steak, chicken with mushrooms/provolone so delicious! My husband ordered the Philly steak sandwich and said it had good flavor, but the roll should have been crusty and he had more than one piece of... More
My husband and I enjoyed dinner here while we were staying at a B&B in Gonzales. Gonzales is about 25 minutes away from Moulton and is a nice drive. My husband had the prime rib and it was excellent. I had the chicken fried steak (kid's portion) and it was very good. Try the haricot verts (tender green beans). This... More
its not fancy, but they cook like grandpa did 60 years ago,, probably. you cant go wrong. good food, great price, and nostalgic on all levels.
I have lived in this area for 12 years and have dined at every Restaraunt that has popped up from here to Victoria. Kloesel's continues to be consistently great in steaks, seafood, soups, etc., and the only place I am happy to recommend to my customers! I could not survive without a weekly infusion of one of their delicious filet... More
