I've eaten here since it opened in 1972. I love their cheeseburgers, mario burritos, taco salad, bean rueda, and especial plate and lately it seems that dinner is staffed with different people than lunch. The servers are inattentive and make mistakes (or the kitchen does). My most recent experience had both our dishes messed up and the waitress going back... More

Excellent food and some unique dishes. The fajitas are very good with the chili rellano being the signature dish. Overall, it is the best Midland has to offer for Mexican food, so it is pretty good. It is geared toward upper scale customers rather than the folks who like the hole in the wall Mexican places. I eat here often... More

By far, the most exciting chile rellano I have ever eaten. Being from way out of town, I have only eaten at the restaurant twice, and both time have had the dish. It's been over a year now since I last visited, and I still think (dream) about that chile rellano. There is certainly a Mediterranean influence that is golden.... More

The shrimp stuffed chile relleno was excellent. The queso com crane was good as was the steak. The service was delightful and it was imperative to the server we enjoyed our meal.

I don't eat here often, but the food is always pretty good, so I don't know why not. They used to have a great bowl of chili, maybe it's just too early for cooking a big pot of chili, I hope!! The Beers are still cold and the chips and salsa are good, I'll be back soon.

This was our first visit to La Bodega. We were seated immediately. We needed a highchair for my baby, the hostess brings me a broken one. We order our drinks, they bring them in cracked and chipped glasses. We order our food. It was disgusting. I couldn't even chew the beef fajitas and the pico de gallo smelled rotten and... More

We lived in Midland for 16 years. And the past 18 years in Houston. Houston has many many good places to eat. But I have never found any Chilli Rellenos as good as LaBodega. They are more authentic Mexican, than Tex Mex. As soon as we get to Midland, we go to La Bodega and have Chilli Rellenos and they... More

Chile rellenos with raisins, sauce that tastes like crushed tomatoes just poured poured from a can, paper-like chips, stifling cigarette smoke wafting from the upstairs bar. I do not intend to return.

I've eaten here maybe a dozen times over the years and would more often except they always bring plates with luke-warm food. Hellllooooo....Mexican food is supposed to be served hot! So hot that servers handle with towels and warn you the plates are hot to touch. Perhaps they should invest a little in a microwave oven instead of a plant... More

We have eaten here several times and every time our food comes out cold. I would also have to say the the flavor is lacking as well. I generally can not get a refill on my drink until the food comes out or they bring the check. For what you get I feel it is a bit over priced.
