Straight Forward Down Home Italian

This place is tucked away downtown and mainly attracts locals. The food is straight forward and competently prepared. If you dislike franchise stuff, this place is a great alternative. It will never make the Michelin Guide but you will not be disappointed with the tomato sauce and pizza.

We call in to Luigis a lot to take it home. Our favorite is the "pizza snack". You get a house salad with house Italian dressing, half a 10 inch pizza, small spaghetti which we add a meatball to. It is soooooo good. The best thing about taking out from Luigis is that they NEVER forget anything in your order.... More

Excellent food and atmosphere. Been going there for 50 years and it is always the best. Try the hamburger/jalapeno pizza. Antipasto salad can't be beat along with the Lasagna. For something on the go, the meatball sub is delicious.

Ive probably eaten at Luigi's 10 times. I am always with someone who wants to eat here because it isnt my first choice. To be honest, I find it to be crowded with a 15min to half hour wait to be seated, noisy, and no parking nearby. The food is OK but nothing to rave about. I usually get the... More

I was recommended to this place by my uber driver. I searched and searched for the menu online and could not find the menu that included pizza. It was a short walk from my hotel and the atmosphere was so comforting it reminded me of eating at italian restaurants as a child with the red and white table cloths, the... More

This is a midland standard. Luigi's has been around quite a while and serves the same menu and is very consistent. Plan to look for a place to park since parking is limited.

The food here is wonderful and flavorful. This is a small restaurant so going for late lunch or early dinner will get you in the fastest.

My wife &I love the Pizza Snack. It is served with a house salad, spaghetti with meat balls and half of a pizza. I usually get the Supreme pizza without sourcrout. It usually is too muck for dinner so I have enough for lunch the next day.

Food was too hot and took forever to cool. Food was very bland. Great atmosphere. Limited parking. Nice location in downtown Midland.
