Their last day before closing to refurbish some rooms,(opening again mid Dec) we had a really impressive meal, I ordered the Haddock and chips, a simple meal that is so often done badly, it was exceptional (as an ex chef I don't do faint praise!) the batter was crisp and the chips really well cooked, Linda had 2 starters which... Lovely warm and friendly pub. Food was great and good value for money. The pudding was particularly lovely. Would recommend. We ate in the bar which had a great atmosphere.

very friendly service, excellent food and great with kids as they were really flexible with food options for young children. my wife and i shared the scallops starter which was delicious. we followed that with one of the best steak burgers i have ever had. finally, couldn't resist the puddings and fell into a warm chocolate brownie which was as... I visited the Edinbane recently on a Sunday evening in a group of 7. Everyone was very happy with their food. I had the special of mushroom, chestnut, walnut and blue cheese pie and shared the ginger pudding with chilli chocolate ice-cream. The main courses were around £13 and dessert £6. I would definitely recommend eating there. The restaurant was... More

We took the opportunity of visiting twice for meals in the dining room. Excellent food and service and desserts to die for - whisky and honey parfait and lemon panna cotta with raspberry sorbet (and this comment from a non dessert eater!) Happy memories.

Went to the Edinbane Restaurant to meet friends who were also staying in Skye. We were all delighted with our choice of food and enjoyed the Scottish music late Sunday afternoon. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hope to return soon

My first time here with my wife and long term local friend. Having come to Skye for over 30 years this is the first time we visited Edinbane and we will be back. For a mid October damp Saturday evening the restaurant and bar area was surprisingly busy. This will be due to the good food and warmth of welcome... More

Visited this pub, whilst on holiday recently after having read favourable reviews on TripAdvisor. From the outside, it doesn't look anything special and the interior is a bit sparce, but it's clearly very popular, as the restaurant was fully booked for that evening. We were therefore offered a table in the bar. Service was very friendly, efficient and helpful. We... More

Our host at Highcroft House recommended, made reservations and we were not disappointed. The food was beyond delicious and the ambiance was perfect ...it was crowded but we felt as we were the only patrons there. Our waiter attended to our every need!
