For more than 500 years one of the staple foods of the Canary Islands has been a milled flour known as gofio, ground in windmills that at one time peppered the islands. Few working mills now remain. For Don Felipe, the man who first established the restaurant in the 1990s, the windmill of El Molino Blanco represented the traditions of his homeland. Today it reminds us of a fundamental food still prevalent in the Canary Islands and represents our commitment to preserving the best of Canarian traditional cuisine combined with the finest ingredients and years of culinary know-how to provide a unique and unforgettable dining experience. Choose from our inside dining room set within a traditional covered courtyard adorned with curios from Tenerife's rural heritage intertwined with rich foliage, or on our garden terrace with its scented flowers and lush tropical plantings. If it's a special occasion, why not book our intimate gazebo table set within the garden which gives you additional privacy in a rustically romantic setting. From the moment you set foot in El Molino Blanco we want to ensure you enjoy the very best food, service and entertainment so that you go home from your Tenerife holiday with precious memories to last a lifetime, or at least until you return to share your time with us again. We ate here with 2 other couples and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had a seafood paella which was very good. My husband ordered the goat entree, and it was really delicious. We also had grilled squid, so fresh and tender, not chewy like the usual calamari at restaurants at home. One couple ordered strawberries flambe with green peppercorns. I... More

Perhaps we caught the chef on a bad night but this was the worst meal we have had on this holiday. The so called king prawns with my avocado were small and dry and the steak in my 'El Molino Strogonoff' was tough and tasteless. This is apparently a very famous restaurant locally. To me it has seen better days!

My partner and I went to dinner and had a excellent meal/evening. Lovely ambiance with staff that were attentive but not overly so. It was so good that we booked again whilst on holiday and were not disappointed !

I have visited this place a few times now, Food not the cheapest but very nice and good staff. Garden to eat is nice and romantic if its a warm evening. Inside nice as well though. Even the cheesy singer on some nights is good fun. Tan and teeth with a rose for the ladies! Quality

So many people had recommended this restaurant so on our wedding anniversary we decided to give it a go. We booked in advance, which is recommended, and they had reserved a table right at the front, the food was amazing and presented nicely, service couldn't fault and it just made it listening to the guy playing the piano, perfect, they...
