Tucked away upstairs in the Cita Centre is a hidden gem. Freshly baked cakes which are to die for. The portions are massive and the coffee strong and hot. Find a seat, order your drinks, go and choose your cake and I promise you will enjoy it! No I don't get paid by them but yes I go every holiday!

We'd been told that this place was a bit of an institution and it seemed the place to go for tea and cakes (or ice-cream sundaes) around four o'clock. We were initially dumbfounded at the setting- at the back of a terribly tacky looking shopping centre- but once inside (or outside, as many of the tables are on the terrace)... More

We called in here after a long walk from the Dunes. I've been a couple of times before on previous trips and it has always been reliable for a quiet and refreshing drink on a hot day. Today was no exception. The drinks arrived quickly and the ice cream ordered was lovely and large! My quibble is that the menus... More

Besides the georgous breakfast for 6 Eur incl a jar of coffee, 2 eggs, 3 Brötchen and marmalede, the always fresh cakes provide for a daily highlight after the beach. Absolutely gay friendly, around 5 it almost turns flirty i

This is the best place for cake and coffee in Gran Canaria. Gay customers Flock here to pay credence to the cake God. Usually after 3pm. Great family owned german cake shop. Loverly coffee, cake and ice cream. Nice crowd perfect to end the day but don't turn up covered in sand this is a place for the well dressed... More

Simmer down guys, this is a holiday cafe not The Ritz! Great cake and fun times today - cheerful decor, nice guys to chat to and good staff working a demanding clientele. Anyone not happy should leave the attitude at the door - or just go elsewhere please

Excellent ice cream after a day out on the beach. Try the Special "Café-Wien". Staff might need some English lessons though.

Cakes are lovely, but the waiters are obnoxious and really need new jobs. A place can only dine out on its reputation for so long.
