Authentic and delicious

Found this little Gem on our last evening and so glad we did, service was good. There were five of us 3 having a different dishes an 2 had the lamb all were authenic, flavoursome and good portion, starters delicous. A little pricey but definitely worth a visit.

We booked in early at around six on a Friday evening and it was pretty empty at that time. On the back of the TA reviews we decided on sharing a garlic bread and having a kleftiko each. The portions were huge, and we didn't need the shared starter at all. The wine was a bit expensive (we got a... More

I'm so glad we went to this restaurant (twice) as the food is so much better than anywhere else we could find (which isn't a compliment in itself as the other places are not good at all, just below average) and the food is very Greek and authentic, and delicious. If you miss this place you'll regret it as this... More

After looking at the reviews for Greek food, well you need something different now and again on a holiday, we chose Greek Village. From outside it looks good, and its just as nice inside. Friendly staff welcomed us without a reservation, however as it's off season now in April, and there were only two tables left, I guess booking in... More

Went to this restaurant after reading reviews. Got a table inside and the service was fast and good. Meze for starter was very good. The mains varied. Very good lamb chops, not so good souvlaki and a bit tasteless chicken with feta cheese (where was the feta?). Ordered irish coffee afterwards, but it took so long time som we had... More

Chosen this place to eat as it was recommended by tripadvisor as being on #16 place. I do not know now if we have been unlucky or it is overrated and regular basis for this restaurant to be bad organized and staff slow. Menu: Quite simple and clear, offering typical greek dishes which is a big plus. Wine selection and... More

We read the positive and negative reviews about Greek Village and decided to go along and make up our own minds. Overall, we enjoyed it. The food was nicely prepared and presented - one of us had the eight hour cooked lamb, which was flavoursome and fell off the bone. The other had village chicken - which was more basic... More

Went to this place twice during our stay, and had been on previous holidays. The food is really excellent, and a nice choice of wine. Staff very friendly, and gave us a nice table on the terrace (second time we booked an outside table to be safe. Would fully recommend this place to all!

I had a greek meal at this restaurant close to my hotel. The menu quite extensive offered some good greek dishes. I had the fried zucchini starter followed by the Greek beef gyro platter. The food was very good and enquired with the staff who confirmed that the Chef was indeed a greek native. Good service and very good value... More
