Having read the reviews, we decided to visit. It is situated at the foot of an apartment block. It was busy when we arrived and we were totally ignored whilst we waited to be shown to a table. Eventually, we had to go and find someone. A further 20 minutes later, no menus, not even the offer of drinks, totally... More

We ended up visiting this place twice during our holidays. The pretty Swedish waitresses really made us feel welcome & are very bubbly & nice. Nothing pretentious about the food... they're just simple tapas with yummy taste. Especially the cheese-filled Jalapenos & the lamb stew.. fabulous! Never get enough of them. Great work, guys!

Stumbled upon this place by accident when driving around the resort - so glad we found it. The outside eating area is really ambient and the inside is very rustic. We ordered a variety of dishes between four and no one dish was negative in the slightest. The dishes come out one by one once prepared in a traditional tapas... More

I eat out almost every day and rarely have to complain about food. With all the good reviews about Tango Tapas, I feel it's only fair to say how disappointed I was with this restaurant. The entrecote steak looked good but was tough and tasteless - I had to send it back, the first time in years. The mojo pepper... More

This is the best restaurant in Playa. Excellent food and great atmosphere. We come back every year and pray it is still there and it never fails to disappoint. GO GO GO

Only restaurant on the area that we could find that served a good variety of tapas. Great experience, really nice staff. Great food, Mojitos were excellent, I think it was the owner lady who made those. Loved the old guy with the guitar. Table reservation is a must.

From start to finish an excellent evening. The service was friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, the prices were very good and the ambiance upbeat. A good range on the menu served in a well chosen order, the house red was very good and not over priced, a singer playing traditional songs. Great for couples or families or big... More

On our second night we did quite a bit of research into Playa Del Ingles restaurants keen to have some quality food. I found Tango Tapas on tripadvisor and took a taxi down there and plonked down in the outside seating area which included umbrellas, blankets and cushions. Very cosy! Upon arrival the staff were very attentive and happy to... More

This is a great tapas restaurant and is very popular so try to reserve a table if you can. The manager is very welcoming and friendly, as are the waitresses. The food and service were fabulous - we had dinner there twice in our 7 night holiday. Highly recommended!

Food and atmosphere are top notch. Do not hesitate to eat here. Prices are reasonable and the owner Juan is a joy! He makes you feel right at home, even if you have never eaten tapas before. The restaurant is called Tango Tapas, by the way, not Tango Y Tapas.
