Welcome to "GREEK TAVERNA" We would like to express our appreciation to our patrons and thank them for the years of support and of course we equally thank those of you that are here for the first time. A few words about our establishments: Achieving reputable status and the quality that we are famous for was not easy.We were forced to import our own wide selection of Greek products, seek, the finest available on the island and combine them with our cuisine for a final result of authentic quality.Whether it be from wines, meats, vegetables to sald shrimps, herbs or spices. Our meals are prepared and cooked upon request in order to ensure premium quality and as the wise words said: "quality takes time". We hope you enjoy yourselves. Feel free to ask for any assistance. Consisstently good

I have eaten here many times over the last 15 years and it is always the same. The food and service is excellent. No plate smashing or Greek music. Lovely food to suit all palates. Ribs are divine, as are the salads and arnequi red wine delicious. It's our first night and we'll certainly be back.

My partner and I really enjoyed this tasty, wholesome meal. The service, wine and atmosphere were also great. Vegetarian options were really good. Will return next time in Gran Canaria.

I can't believe this place isn't busier. The food is gorgeous. My partner and I had lunch. I had the hummus with rosemary bread and a chicken soup. My partner had the warm chicken salad. Massive portions. Definitely give this a try

I love love love Greek food especially humous! This restaurant doesn't disappoint. The food is delicious. This restaurant is one of our favourites. We have visited 3 times now. In September 2014 we came for a meal here on our honeymoon as it's one of our favourite restaurants. Will definitely return when we are next in Gran Canaria.

Visited three times during our recent holiday, the food was excellent and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Met the owner who was a very nice guy and great host. Price was ok, you get what you pay for i.e. value for money. Spotlessly clean, definitely will return on next visit.

The end of our holiday we found this restaurant. If you are greek food lover, this is your choice. We visited this restaurant twice. Position 4th of tripadvisors ranking list (3/2015) is too low.

Food was good. Deep-frided feta was very good. Fried eggplants with zatsiki were exelent.m. We will be back. Thank you.

San Augustin is a Swedish haunt in Gran Canaria, and not only do most tourists come from Sweden, but a number of restaurant staff as well. We were welcomed and served by a tall blonde lady who didn't look a bit like a Greek - in fact she was a Swede. The place is very tidy, spacious and sparkling clean.... More
