Best fish of the day

Best fish of the day (if you get there early enough, between 12:30 and 1:30) also one of the best tasting Spanish Gazpacho I've ever had the pleasure of eating. The prices are however a little more uptown than the other restaurants on the island. (20 € per head) but well worth it. Very friendly... read more

This restaurant is situated at the end of a small promenade right on the beach at Morro Jable in Fuerteventura. It is well frequented by Spanish people which made us give it a try and we were not disappointed. It was very busy at lunch time and we ordered the mixed seafood and meat paella for the 2 of us... Was having bad food at the hotel i was staying with my girlfriend so we went out and came across this place. It was really nice by the water and the staff was on top form and the manger was the best ive seen and i work in restaurants. Everytime someone came and wanted a table outside he'd get a... More

We visited La Laja twice during our recent visit to Morro, basically to give it a chance on the second occasion. The food is as good as ever, as is the ambience. Service was however unreliable and slow on both occasions - overcooked rare steak and Coke instead of diet Coke, for example. I'm not sure why the service was... More

We found this restaurant during a Sunday walk along the beach, it’s location is great, we were looking for something traditional that served fish and this delivers on all levels, the food is wonderful coupled with great service, if you are in the area you must visit

Ate here last night. The setting is incredible. The Calamari and Serrano Ham starters were very very good. I tend to eat Calamari where every I can and this was some of the best I've had anywhere. I had fish of the day which again was very good. My partner had the Fillet Steak with Garlic which was tough and... More

The setting is nice, a terraced area overlooking the beach, the food was good - I would say the portions were far too big but this is a better thing than being too small of course! The staff were polite. I would happily eat here again but it wouldn't be my first or second choice.

I can't rave about this place. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you order moules marinieres you'd expect the classic white wine, cream and garlic version, wouldn't you? The sauce was made with peppers - lots of them - enough to set your mouth on fire. The waitress couldn't have cared less when I mentioned it.
