We wish we went a different dish. We weren't aware you can eat raw prawns so when they arrived with the rest of the platter we were a little worried and weren't left with much else to eat. This isn't a reflection on the restaurant, just our choice which may help others. I would return again as the setting is... More

The food was good (we ordered gluten-free spaghetti) but the service was horrible. The maitre treated us as with very bad manners from the beginning to the end. In you go there take in account the bad service-price relationship.

We had dinner here and the service as well as the food were good. I had the best calamari i have ever had (just my personal opinion). Main dishes (seafood risotto and lobster pasta) were good too. Some patience needed though. Prices were ok too but i think it is a little bit more expansive than some restaurants nearby.

We have been in "C'era una volta" during a rainy day, just jumped in and suddenly got to know the boss: Mr. Sandro. a very symppathic person. Try the Fish startes and the pasta-with-fissh plates, great!! the pasta is home-made... really good!!

Through recommendations from friends, we ate here when we first arrived in Sardinia from our ferry ride from Corsica. The jovial host was most gracious, and we enjoyed a conservative meal -for us- since we had a several hour drive from there to our hotel. We began with melon with prosciutto, which the owner carved from a leg, hoof and... More

We picked this restaurant from Tripadvisor and it met all our expectations. The seafood was excellent, with the antipasti comprising 4 prawn treats chosen by the waiter, followed by a whole fresh fish with gorgeous vegetables on the side. Overall an excellent meal that was cheaper than we expected for a 1st class meal. Complements to chef Paola.

Arrived without a reservation and they squeezed us in -- and the 4 of us were glad they did! Extremely warm welcome in this family resto and they sure know how to cook -- particularly fish which was brilliant. Many suggestions on starters and main courses to choose from to make sure we had the freshest and best. Excellent local... More

During my 10-day stay in Sardinia I've been to this restaurant twice and would definitely come back when I am in Sardinia next time!!! This restaurant is one of the best my dining experience in North Sardinia. This place is the combination of original receipts based on extremely fresh seafood, home-made pasta cooked in Italian traditions and famous italian hospitality...it's... More

It very well could be. Don't let the unassuming location fool you, you are about to eat food that is as tasty, balanced and perfectly prepared as any you have had. Step in, sit down let the owner Sandro give you a meal to write home about. Enjoy!
