Service was good as far as taking order and keeping drinks full but as far as knowing their Sushi our waiter almost acted like it was his first day. Sushi was good and meal was cooked perfect. Nice building and parking.

I have eaten at many Hibachi restaurants and this one is a 6 out of 10. The place is nice and clean and the staff seemed to be friendly. It is the typical bang and flash show on the hibachi. Our chief must have been tired because he really did not have his heart in the performance. The menu is... More

I ate here with a few friends from my neighborhood, the food seemed very delicious but seemed a bit pricy for me. While being waited on by a very nice man, the owner came behind him and started cursing him out and calling him names, of which i wont go into details. I then saw something that i couldnt believe,... I go hear often for lunch and it never disappoints. Good sushi for a good price. I reccomend trying the yumi yumi roll. All the rolls are very large so you probably don't need as many rolls as you would think.

where to begin? this place was TERRIBLE! i thought the food would be good, but i shouldn't have cheaped out and went to a real sushi restaurant. the prices made the food sound good and the description of the suchi sounded great, but when i got it (it was a crab temp. roll), it was completely salty. the fried rice... My favorite Japaneese in Mesquite, and very nice friendly staff. The Lady Lindas sushi is very good.

Nathan did a good job serving and answering our questions about the rolls. The food was served quickly and everything was delicious. The rolls were huge and definitely worth the price! We have tried many different sushi places in Dallas since we moved here 7 months ago, but so far this one is the best for the price.

The staff is warm and friendly, the food is fresh, delicious, and not overpriced, and the sushi chef always sends us some extras. LOVE this place anytime of day!

Kamikaze - or Kaze, as it reads on the sign - is a refreshing alternative to the surplus of chain restaurants on both sides of the freeway. Water features, wood, and bamboo have transformed the interior of this former Owens Restaurant. You are greeted by the sushi chefs and wait staff as you enter, but otherwise, the (pop) music and... I have been there twice now and have had great experiences both times. I have been to other sushi restaurants in the Dallas area and this by far has been the best so far. The rolls have nicely sliced tuna and salmon compared to some of other places that serve paper thin fish with mostly rice and fake imitation crab.... More
