In the evening, we had dinner at Restaurant L'Arssiban in Bourg. We went for their €27 set menu, which was quite good. It's a nice place, very light and spacious for a French restaurant (or any restaurant come to that) and with large, roomy tables. It seems popular with families. Waitresses were two mature ladies (about my age), who got... More

If you like fine food, excellent service without being pretentious, and a charming ambience then visit this restaurant. It is certainly one of the best eating places I have been to during my 11 years of living in France. We went there twice during our stay in the Savoie region because it was so good. Try the menu at 27... More

We went for a 27€ daily Menu, combined with some local wine. The service was excellent, food nicely presented and the taste extraordinary. Going there during a day off the nearby ski slopes turned to be a really lucky decision.

L'Arssiban gets the little things right that make it a great eating experience. It also does the 'core business' - good food, that is - very well. The food is well prepared, the dining room is well laid out and presented, and there is lots of space between tables giving a much better environment and creating the right tone. We... More

Would highly recommend the quail in mustard we paid 80 euros for a lovely bottle of red wine three course menu of the day. It was lively to have the added extras that we're provided!

Very friendly staff. Fantastic food and service. Would like to eat here more but save it for special occasions as its fairly pricey, but set dinner menu is great value for money at around 28€ for 3 courses.

Would highly recommend this restaurant, the staff are excellent, couldn't do enough for us....food choice was excellent, and we all went for something different, either fixed price menu which gave a little of the Savoie area ..which was lovely or the a l carte which didn't disappoint ....value for money was good, and atmosphere was cosy and lovely...perfect choice for... We have lived in the area for a few years now and realised fairly quickly that out of ski season there are very few good places to eat out. We went to L'Arssiban for lunch today and we were not let down at all. The staff are very welcoming on the phone and then in person. Our lunch was very... More

Not the easiest place to find. You have to strt up the road to the Cormet de Soseland and it's there on the left; IE it's not on any of the main routes to ski resorts. Menus at 25 euros. Home made bread, amuse bouch and petit fours all included. We loved it and can't recommend it more highly.
