A tiny gem located off the main tourist road. We dined with our family of four and were treated to excellent service by the two gentleman serving the floor that evening. They were playful and kind to our two kids throughout the meal. Excellent and diverse menu options either for the two set menus or for the al a carte... More

Great french cousine. We had some troubles trying to book a table over the phone, with the non-english speaking man that answered, but finally managed to get a table. The food was very french and very good. Our waiter spoke perfect english and even told some interesting stories. The portions could have been a tad larger, but with nice, big,... More

This was our second visit and we were not disappointed. The 40 euro set menu was top quality food. The service was excellent. Overall the whole experience was fantastic. I highly recommend a visit , we will return for dinner next time.

This little restaurant is set well back from the road and has wonderful French cuisine. Prices are average for the area but I would recommend this restaurant without any hesitation whatsoever. My wife and I dined in three different restaurants in this area during Easter 2013 and perhaps is enough of a recommendation to say that we ate in Chante... More

Parents-in-law recommended this place and we were not disappointed. Tucked away off the main costal road between Les Issambres and St Aygulf, this is what you expect a little local restaurant to be. The restuarant sits in a small village square with some charming old houses alongside. It is somewhat shabby chic and the white plastic chairs for the outside... More

This restaurant is under new management since February 2012 and the new owners have revamped the menu and made tremendous improvements. The fixed menus offer many choices, and the food is refined, delicious, and beautifully presented. The veloute de pomme de terre with truffles was out of this world, as was the grilled fish. The desserts are varied and delicious... More

Good balance of dishes with a really super goat's cheese souffle. Also enjoyed the slow cooked daube de beouf. Amuse bouche of mushroom frothy soup and truffle garnish was great too. Wine list was short, unfussy and good value. We would return.

We have dined at this restaurant in the old village several times. We've never been disappointed. The restaurant is beautifully decorated; the fixed price menu (including fish soup) was delicious, ample, and well presented. The service was warm and prompt. We will continue to return to this nice place.

I Went here with my Family and although the restuarant was cosy and nice inside I was sat in the plastic covered outside area, even though the restuarant was not busy. It felt like because we had a child we were not made that welcome. The meal was fine, no real issues, but to be honest given the poor service... More
