We ate here on a Sunday night. This is not fine dining but it is good, enjoyable fare and offers value for money. The standard menu is supplemented by specials and there is a regional dimension to the food. Service is friendly and efficient. Well worth a visit.

fairly priced, suitably varied, Noted locals eat there too which is a good recommendation in itself. Breakfast good value as well

I have to say that this 'Bar Hotel Brasserie' is a little out of place, being located next to the train station - which is away from the town centre and most of the other places to eat and drink. We were wandering around the town on a hot afternoon and the outside seating overlooking a good looking (but unused) station building was just too enticing to pass by. The cold drinks were very welcome.

Staying at the hotel on the final leg of our French journey we ate here after a long drive and an afternoon at la coupole (7mins drive). We ordered steak, sausage type dish and a kids chicken nuggets. Followed by crepes and profiteroles.... The profiteroles would have Fed ten people haha they were huge!! We actually stayed at Chic o rail for a couple of nights which is a small hotel as well as a large restaurant next to the station. It is run by a couple who are very welcoming and helpful. The food was really good and the portions huge, and for a very small bill! The service was very friendly and helpful. I wish we had more restaurants like that in Belgium! Popular, tasty and cheap.
