I love this place. Genuine, passionate and a great gastronomic experience. The suckling pork with crackling skin was to die for. It's sadly rare to find someone combining tradition and innovation like this, who actually master it. Amazingly personal touch on the service. This is no doubt a must when I go to Alsace, which I do from time to... More

Absolutely yes! Original Alsace style cuisine, nice english speeking service. Meal is perfect, winelist is wide scale of Alsace winemakers and includes even the iconic ones. Very nice silent yard behind the restaurant. Worth to visit.

we went here on a warm pre-summer day. this restaurant is right in one of those cute little alsacian towns. they have a very cosy courtyard which is perfect to enjoy a warm summer day's lunch. service was friendly, spoke english, could have been a little quicker, but overall pretty good. food was very nice, not extraordinary, but good value... The restaurant has a wonderful outside seating in a garden, very pleasant. The service is really good, and the meal was one of the best that we ever had in a restaurant! It's really worth it a visit!!!

This is our second visit to this restaurant and it was better than the first time. The service, the food, the selection of wines were very good. And we could see a big difference that the staff were really trying to do their best. They spoke English, and could recommend what to have on the menu. Overall, a very nice... More

In the nice village of Bergheim we found this lovely restaurant. Inside there was a garden with 10 tables, lots of people were sitting (the couple next to us smoked over 30 cigarrets during our lunch :-( - we are not smoking) and eating, having a glass of wine. Staff were very friendly. We hade well-prepared food. A lovely avocadocream... More

We have stopped here for a lunch break on our way back from Reims to Switzerland. We've selected the recommended three course menue & a glass of a suggested Grand Cru Riesling 2008. All was really very good.

This Bib Gourmand restaurant exceeds expectations, with the owners very keen on both food and service. At Sunday lunch (after a 2-hour walk down from Thannenkirch) we were about the only tourists in the place - and there was not an empty seat in the house. (I am very glad we thought to book.) The special menus are well through... More

Traditional but refined cuisine alsacienne in a beautiful little town. We ate here when travellinto the Alpes and stayed in La cour du Bailli which is next door. Great and extensive wine list. Good value for money.

family restaurant in the not very touristic Bergheim. Thankfully. A refined traditional cuisine, beautiful winelist. ever so friendly staff. Try the regional Bergheim Riesling, the Pinot Noir with kidneys and mustard. The cassoulet of snails and salad are very nice. Friendly priced.
