Great place for a pint

This is a very nice pub located in the an old stone building within the dockyards. The large fireplace (I don't think its used these days) and "antique" appearing furniture give the place a comfortable feel. They brew there own beer here; I tried the pale ale and brown ale and thought both were... read more

My wife and I stopped in the Frog and Onion for lunch during a visit to Bermuda in March 2015. Overall, the service was very good. The servers were polite and friendly and our meals were delivered promptly. This may well be because the cruise ship crowds weren't in yet so there weren't many patrons. The drink selection is very... More

Good variety of "pub grub" to choose from - the falafel burger was soggy and unappealing but the deep fried pickles and other burger choices are good. Service was a bit slow but the place was quite busy with several events ongoing at the Dockyard. Overall quite pricey for the quality of the food - surprising that the "exotic" specialty... More

Just an old time favorite which doesn't try to be more than it is, and therefore does it well. A Dockyard option well worth the stop. Somethings are silly like the take home beer glass or the flashing tumbler for kids. Had the beef pie, onion rings, chicken pie, and broccoli and cheddar soup(not that good) and creamy tomato (a... Wheat beer and fish and chips were good except I expected the chips to be wedges like the "British". It was low season so service was good. Indoor/outdoor seating.

I don't really have too much to say about this place. The food is fine but nothing special. The setting is different. Its set up like an old medieval castle but I would say its a must place to eat. There are better options.

Really enjoyed the wheat beer…we return for a second time during our 6 day stay. We also enjoyed Derek's burger, fish & chips and beef short rib pie.

Indoor and outdoor seating located next to Museum, Dolphin Quest, water taxi/ferry and cruise ship docks. Food and service was good - perhaps a few too many customers from the cruise ships trying to eat a quick meal before boarding again.

We were there April 2014 with a party of 6 including 2 children. Enjoyed the atmosphere but was blown away with the prices. We had 2 burgers, 2 salads, 1 chicken sandwich and 1 nachos with 4 sodas and 2 waters. the bill before tax and tip was $198. Will not go there again.

This place has always been a favourite for locals with family and tourists alike for its unusual setting and ye olde feel and simplicity. The food has much improved with new ownership gladly ... With some healthier and more appealing choices and whimsical plays on bermudian cuisine
