The Frog and Onion is convenient to the cruise ship dock and that is where their focus lies. The decor is fake and plastic, the staff inattentive, the gift shop tacky. They have beer. Bermuda has a lot more to offer than this - best avoided unless you are looking for something super convenient and 'sort of like home.'

We went to the Frog and onion for dinner and happy hour. We tried the local beer and ordered the nachos for appetizers (very good) We then got the burgers and fries- exactly what we needed after traveling all over bermuda. The staff was very good and the atmosphere was laid back. This was one of our favorites in Bermuda.... More

We went here for lunch last week. I was disappointed because they said that there were no tables inside so we were stuck sitting on their quasi-outdoor patio which was wedged in a hallway across from a souvenir shop. The weird thing was that when we got up to use the bathroom, there were tons of empty tables inside which... More

I stopped here because I wanted to try the beer that is brewed locally. I was by myself and took a seat at the bar. The bartenders were attentive. This place to me was very touristy but that is what I liked about it. There were regulars, people who clearly had never travelled anywhere before, cruise passengers, sailing types, wanna... More

Popped in for lunch after visiting the Dockyards. Got there right after opening so it wasn't so busy. Had a nice local ale, the grilled fish sandwich with chips and a slice of decadent chocolate forte for dessert. My husband had the house signature burger and it was also delicious. A good place for lunch if your in the parish.

This is your prototypical touristy "just off the cruise ship", get a margarita in a 100oz souvenier glass kinda place. Menu is too big, but it has to be to placate a lot of different tastes. Cheesy gift shop and decor, though it was fairly busy during our visit because there was a World Cup match on TV. If you're... More

English pub food. Cottage pie was actually made with lamb as opposed to the ground beef most places try to pass of on their Shepherd's pie. Was a delicious difference. We also had the fish and chips which was excellent. Eating English fare at the Royal Naval Dockyard surrounded by 250 year old walls and buildings sets an ambience that's... More

I was looking forward to coming here and trying the local beer. I thought it was ok, but I was blown away by the blackened wahoo salad that I enjoyed for lunch. It was one of the best meals I ate on our trip. My husband also enjoyed his BBQ chicken sandwich and fries. I thought the prices were reasonable... More
