Surprisingly good food !!

We went to the Frog and Onion after a day at the beach. We loved the history of the building. Hand hewn stone and hundreds of years of British Naval occupation was more than a draw. We expected typical tourist level food and beer. When we sat down, we were greeted by fun atmosphere and some nice... read more

Good food in Bermuda costs money and even mediocre food costs money, just a bit less. Good food at cheap prices is really hard to find and i wish i could say this is it - but it isn't. The Frog & Onion is not a bad choice for less expensive food but the food is not great and afterall... More

We love this place, we look forward to grabbing that in between meal after our excursions on a day off the cruise ship. This time had the Fish & Chip special, some Fried Pickles, & some of our friends had various sandwiches and we all tried a different craft beer! Delicious! Recommended you should go next time you have about... More

The building of this pub is really old. The food average. The chowder in Bermuda served there is a tomato base. Nice atmosphere. Walk to a nice beach from there.

Stopped by the frog and onion while our cruise ship was docked at the Naval Dockyard. Ordered a couple beers and some wings. Food and beer were both ok. Be forewarned, both food and drinks were fairly expensive, but that's par for the course pretty much anywhere on the island. We were the only ones there in the middle of... More

My husband & I stayed "local" on the last cruise day before we headed back to NY. We stopped in for a drink and a snack. Definitely touristy and the drinks can be expensive if you get lured by the "special" drinks and beer on the first page of the drink menu. Look towards the back - you can regular... More

As always, this pub provides the perfect stop during a day at Dockyard. The food is typically what you would expect and is of good quality. Their Bermuda fish chowder is better that several others I've tasted, accompanied of course, by rum and sherry peppers. The menu offers a good variety of items - something for everyone - and a... We bought three craft beer and one fancy mock tail. $62 U.S. When we paid bill they gave us coupons for free glasses. We got four nice beer glasses for souvenirs. Bonus!

Located in Dockyard. Food is your average pub grub. Ambiance is what you'd expect from a pub (if you have real pub experience). Food is good, service is what you'd expect from a pub. Altogether a great place. Eat there whenever I'm in the area.
