We dined here last night with local friends one of whom is a long-term former local restauranteur. Absolutely every element of the experience was spot on. The food, the service, the lovely old Bermuda ambience and the helpful, friendly owner was the best we've experience here or anywhere else in ages. This is a wonderful restaurant. The food (strongly Italianinfluenced) is very good, the enviroment fantastic. Our Bermudan friends says it is one of the absolute best restaurants on the Island. Go visit. Reserve table. It is very good, but do not expect Guide Michelin level.

Historic site located on one of the many Bermuda inlets. Structure dramatically different then expectation as buildings of that period tend to be smaller - smaller doors, lower ceilings, smaller rooms, etc. And this building was none of that. Atmosphere and service impeccable. Small menu but with good selection of pasta, meat and fish entrees. Fish chowder, veal, salmon were... More

On my last day staying at the Grotto Bay Beach Resort my husband & I decided to walk through Blue Hole Park to reach Tom Moore's Tavern. The walk took approx 20 minutes to reach the tavern but it wasn't opened. Some other tourists appeared & informed us it was only open for dinner. There is a lovely terrace overlooking... More

Tom Moore's is a great restaurant with ambiance to match. The east end restaurant is within one Bermuda's architectural gems. Built in 1652 it has been a tavern for over 100 years. Tom Moore, the Irish poet, was here in 1804 and it was here that he met Nea Tucker, for whom he wrote much of his best known romantic... More

This could be considered a tourist trap but it's actually a sweet place with good food. They definitely go a little strong on the whole Bermuda vibe but I understand why most people would find it charming. I had the stuffed pork and it was cooked nicely. The wine was perfectly fine. This is not my usual kind of place... More

We walked the Blue Hole Park scenic track along the waters edge and emerged into a clearing where the Tavern is located. We were impressed with the age of the Tavern and how well it looked. We decided after seeing the menu to make a reservation for the evening. We knew nothing about the Tavern but it emanates classiness. We... More

As everyone has pointed out, the service and the atmosphere are wonderful. My husband started with the foie gras and followed with the stuffed pork tenderloin. I had the fresh fish and we shared the chocolate soufflé for dessert. If you can afford to splurge it's a very nice evening especially for a special occasion.

We wanted to try this restaurant, because it was recommended by our concierge and we liked the idea of a traditional spot. The setting is great - in a very old house. The waiters wear Bermuda shorts, and deliver the food with great fanfare. When it came to the food - it was good, but not great. It seems they... More

Sometimes less is more, so I'll say less (since I've reviewed this restaurant before). Owner-manager Bruno runs a tight ship, and everything is perfect. The appetizer scallops and beef entree were amazing; don't miss the souffle!
