Great location by the river in a village setting in Ladner, BC. Enjoyed a glass of wine and great sea food while watching Christmas carolers going by in boats .

What a surprise just excellent and too much could not finish. It was really hot which I liked lots of seafood and some fish just superb! Pleasantly surprise at how good it was!

Unfortunately we've yet to have a good meal here and we've tried 3 times. The calamari was soggy and undercooked (again) with an odd coating similar to crumbled rye bread, there was very little cheese on the nachos and the fish soup lacked chunks of fish. Summer time on the patio having a cold drink in the sunshine is the... More

We started coming to Sharkey's for drinks and appetizers on the way home from work on Friday nights. It was the middle of winter and the place was always buzzing (in a good way). Then when summer hit the balcony over the slough has been a wonderful place to sit and have lunch or dinner and drinks. Service is fantastic,... More

I've now visited this restaurant twice: once for lunch with a friend, and the last time for a late dinner with my husband. I am not disappointed. It's shellfish season, so I ordered the steamer (mussels the first time, mussels and clams the second) with garlic and white wine. Very fresh and very good both times. The (white) clam chowder... While all serving a menu that is better than most pub's offer, Sharkey is still a pub but really does cross that line into a casual eating restaurant wonderfully. Highly recommend the Halibut and Chips... very very good!

Sharkey's is a great place to eat at any time. The food menu is fairly basic, focusing on seafood of course, but there is always something for everyone. The restaurant has a reputation for providing a range of craft beers, the only place in the area where beer gourmets can find a great pint of ale! In summer, eating on... More

I have been going to Sharkey's for years and on the most part the food is good. Every business has it's good days and bad. This summer I did find there was a change for the better and the food came out hot and tasty. As for the restaurant, it definitely needs a bit of a Freshening up, the theme... More

What else can I say? If you want fish and chips, in authentic surroundings, sitting right on the dock, go to Sharkey's in Ladner. It's especially nice on their deck in summer. They have a lot more than fish and chips on their menu. We go out to Sharkey's at least 3 or 4 times a year - consistently good.

We go to this pub on a regular basis and have never been dissapointed with the service, food, or beer selection.
