Great!

This place is great, you will be served the high-quality dishes for an excellent price. After three course lunch I was barely able to move. (19€ weekends, 13€ weekdays). Born and raised at San Lorenzo de El Escorial, it saddens me how expensive restaurants have become. I don't know the reason, maybe they want to keep San Lorenzo as an elitist place to visit. So for me, each time I want to eat outside this is the place to go, same as for recommendations. The staff is really nice... More

I ate here with my family when we went to visit El Escorial. I ordered the menu of the day (18,90 on a Saturday) and the food was good. However, my parents oredered off of the regular menu and their food was pretty average. The staff was really friendly with letting me know what foods were gluten free (all in... More

Just a few streets away from El Escorial. We chose the Menu del dia and it was terrific with lots of choices even for our young grandchildren. There were six choices for appetizers and another six for the main course. Desserts included four items: flan, icecream, cheesecake and one other that was not available that day. The main courses were... More

Came here in the quiet season after a few hours at el Escorial. We relied on TA for the place but also stopped in a hotel nearby to verify it was good. We are glad we did. They don't speak English but you can figure out most things. The menu del dia was an excellent choice with 6 selections for... More

We are fans of the smaller, local restaurants in Spain. We stopped at the Pharmacia for some cold meds for my wife, and asked the Pharmacist where he would eat lunch in town. He responded that there are several good restaurants but that Madrid-Sevilla was a nice place, good prices, good food. We were not disappointed at all. We ordered... More

Nice restaurant with friendly service. Good menu offerings and well-prepared food. I ate alone inside and felt perfectly comfortable. Recommend for a nice meal.

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant on the 5th of January. I wanted to give her a surprise taking her to El Asador del Rey in El Escorial. It happened that was closed so looking for other restaurants on this date the only one that we found opened was this one. The food was ok but average. Dont... More

I been eating here since I am a kid, always loved their food and the "home" feeling. Their croquets are from another World! Menu is 14€, a bit expensive but worth it... Even the King of Spain likes it (check the letter from his Majesty on one of the doors)
