Very tasty food and the prices are reasonable

We have visited this restaurant for the third time and always we love it as the food is perfect, everything very balanced and tasty, not too modern but really fresh, and, otherwise it's quite fine with the price!

This was my second time in the restaurant. I decided to invite friends who who were visiting me from abroad. The food is exquisite, prepared with local ingredients and served with a great visual effect.

Secured a table for lunch On the day - maybe because it was midweek in November and the weather was bad. Montia was steps away from our small hotel. We stayed for about 4 hours enjoying the short lunch menu. As reviews have mentioned before it was mushroom season and mushrooms featured ALOT. Inside is warm ( woodburning stove) a... More

Lately there s been a pull , or maybe it should be called a search, towards a complelely new approach, and this in spite of all the new and new new, yet in the end , we sort of inevitably return to almost what we had died being. At some point we ll go dine inside unheated caves where we d... More

More than a restaurant, this cozy corner of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, is like visiting an innovative and creative gallery where you will be exposed to beautiful works of art that will challenge your senses. A committed young staff will explain their creations and how they use local organic produce in an effort to raise local cuisine just as... More

We planned to visit the Monastery en route to Segovia from Toledo. When I read about Montia I made it a mission to secure one of the few tables for a Sunday lunch. The young chefs here have a passion for local produce and have created a unique dining experience. In the style of a Michelin star restaurant, they have... More

We were lucky enough to get a last minute cancellation for lunch, and we knew nothing about the place beyond a quick recommendation by friends and views on Trip Advisor. Hidden away in one of th eupper streets of the town lurks an other of Spain's unassuming gems. Just eight tables - and about as many excellent staff, it seemed... More

I hope not too many people read this since there are only about 7 tables in this restaurant (too allow personal attention) and it is hard enough to get a reservation as it is. It is a new restaurant so doesn't yet have Michelin stars (which it richly deserves), but again when it does gain them the prices, which are... More
