Big dining room, nice terrace. Bustle service but friendly and accommodating. The grills are the specialty and we had 4 steaks. 3 were cooked well but one was rare instead of well done and when asked to cook it further they butterflied it which was a shame. The owner came by towards the end and had a chat which was... More

Dear GD_Weston, Thanks a lot for your comments about your visit to our restaurant. We apology we did not cook that fourth steak as it was requested. I am sure it was some kind of misunderstanding, probably because of the language. We are really sorry about that. Hope you visit us some time soon so we could get that five... More

This is an excellent open flame cooked meat restaurant. Usually steaks are tough and pounded flat in Spain, but here they were almost an inch think and a perfect medium rare! Womderful.

We were, I think, the only customers on a Wednesday evening in early June, though the enticing smell of woodsmoke wafter through the interior. However, given the lack of customer company, we chose to eat on the terrace. This is a traditional spot with a traditional menu, long on roast meets. Two of us shared a chuleton, tough in parts;... We had lunch outdoor in front of the Escorial Monastery on an autumn sunny day. Great! The food was good, as expected in an asador, the service kind and professional, and the wine list reasonable.

This restaurant was recommended by La Genara (No. 1) as we (5 people) wanted to try the roasted suckling pig. We sat outside under the warm sun of a Spring day. We opted for the Set Menu (€36 pp) as suggested by the waiter. It includes five starters to share (the grilled peppers were the best), a choice of six... More
