Good Bet for Lunch

The wide selection of very reasonably priced tasty tapas here must be the reason that we, as tourists, were a small minority among the other diners, clearly locals, who packed this restaurant at lunchtime. There are various combination tapas offerings as well as ample standalone entrees. We enjoyed... read more

Do not be fooled by the crowdedness. They have the worst tapas and Sangria. Their drinks are overpriced. There are many other places to try!

Great tapas, good price, the crowd and the noise. These are the true feaures of the real deal for Spaniards. Miss one of them and you are totally off target. And when in Rome do as the Romans do, so raise your voice and fight your way through to get your price in the form of exquisite tapas

Indalo is the "must see" of the bar-de-tapas in Alcalà de Henares. I was living there during one year and Indalo was a fix appointment during the day. Is the typical place always crowded and full of interesting people: the classic offer is the tapas (the Rosca-de-jamòn was my favourite) meaning that for each drink you receive a small portion... I have to set the context here: i have eaten quite good tapas for free in the bar, paid ones in cafe-rstaurants and unbeatable ones made by my spanish friends. So, i am demanding. For this place, i find that the tapas options are limited and the taste is just ok. But given the price we paid, this is quite... More

In my opinion is the best place to have some beer/wine and tapas. 4 beer and 4 tapas 10,80 euros. But what is more important is that you can choose the tapa , and the ingredients are high quality

We had lunch in Indalo. Two plates (fish and pasta). The food was good, the service was quick pleasant and professional and we were surprised by the bill. It was not expensive. That is probably why we saw various families eating there. We avoid eating twice in the same place but in this case we seriously considdered to have dinner... More

We liked the variety. The tapas come with a drink purchase. The burger, eggs and ham, shrimp, ham and cheese sandwich and baby eels were our favorites. Once you have a table, you can take your time to eat and enjoy several different tapas. We disliked the long wait to get a table and as it is always very crowded... More

It is a relatively cheap place to have beer and tapas in Alcala de Henares. Indeed, we paid about 2,70 for each beer along with a big-size tapa from a long list. The beer was really nice and the tapas were amazing. King-size sandwiches with a lovely soft bread, including various types of meat, cheese and seafood. The staff was... More
