It's my first time ( I'm giving a second review)

It's great as usual ... And if I may say you must sample REVITHADA- probably the best in an outdoor location. Today we had BACALIAROS ( special for the nation celebration (25 March )). Out of the beaten path in Chalandri, Kitsoulas is the best choice if you are craving for home made Greek food. At this sixty years old family business that has friendly staff and reasonable prices you can enjoy nice soups, fresh bread and lovely authentic dishes. Everything is perfect.

For those who want to taste the original greek cuisine, out of the beaten path, in Chalandri, a middle class athenian neighborhood Kitsoulas is the best choice. Great variety of homemade cooked dishes, nice pies, real and not touristic mousaka. You will find a lot of locals having their lunch here, while the photos on the walls indicate that many... More

The atmosphere is very casual and the food reminds you family dinners. There are many dishes of greek cusine to choose from and the prices are very good. You must be patient sundays and reserve a table before you go. There is the option to take home some dishes that you liked most.

Don't ask "what to choose". Whatever. It's marvellous. My opinion, if it's your first time tasting greek cuisine, take something different. For example: "Hirino me selino" (pork with celery) "pastitsio" or "mousaka (you know, the first is without aubergines) "gemista kolokythia" (stuffed zucchini) "kouneli stifado" (rabbit with onions) There is though a -negative- Too many people, especially in weekends. Try... More

Old-type family restaurant that operates since forever in the area! Almost every day is full of people working in the area or people that want a break and a nice dish of traditional greek food in reasonable prices! Talk to the owners and the people working there and immediately feel welcome!

I've been eating at this place for the last 10 years and have never been disappointed at the quality of food. There are many traditional Greek plates at low price and we often say here that "my mother/grandmother could have cooked this"! Only problem (at least for Greeks!) is that you need to come early (around one o'clock) to find... More

Very old typical neighborhood place in the north suburbs. Still run by the 75+ old dad that would spur out the menu in 3.4 seconds. As long as you are fully aware that you are visiting a small, packed (not in a crowded way) Greek tavern, the food here is simply marvelous. Especially the cocked dishes, not saying that the... It's ALL that a Greek cuisine has to offer ... It's food you must taste ... A classical "magirio" tavern place. Great smiling people. Logical prices ... Just go
