My family has been dining at Serkos for many years now. This is a standard for us whenever we feel like having kebab, or any oriental dinner for that matter. Both the gyros and the kebabs are great. I favour the hotter spices, while the wife and kids go for softer tasting choices. All of the appetizers, arriving on a... More

We have visitied this place close to 10 times already and everytime the deliciousness of the food keeps surprise us, again and again. Literally, the tenderness of beef shish kebab and also chicken shish kebab will BLOW YOU AWAY. They have also great choice of appetizers for every kind of possible taste there is. I am not over-selling it, GO!,... More

Yes, the decor is dated but the food is excellent and the tastes varied and wonderful. Anyone who likes the tastes of cuisines to the east of Greece will love Serkos. I was there last night with relatives from England at the end of a week's visit and they wished they'd been to Serkos every day instead of just once.... More

Serkos exists since about 1998. The good quality of the food has remained stable over the years. The culinary excitement remained also constantly moderate. The location is quite convenient, with a reasonable number of parking places in the vicinity - something not obvious for Glyfada. The portions are normal sized, the taste didn't reveal any highlights. The decoration is outdated... More

Fine armenian food ... A huge variety of excelent starters (choose 5-6 ones like eggplant sauce, red or green lebanese salat, pastourma pies, grilled cheese...) and good quality kebabs ( the ones with lamb and cheese!!!) with good Kalamata tsipouro !!!! Choose also saganaki with pastourma in a pot!!! Heavy but unforgettable! Don't forget to finish with Kasan dibi and... More

Casual dining with very friendly service. Loved the blown bread, kibe, and yogurt based meat dishes. On the negative side prices are on the high side, not quite coresponding to the taverna setting, and location.

Nice food plenty of appetizer you may choose from the tray that the waiter brings to your table to try the cold yogurt as a drink and the special 'blown' bread. Not cheap though.

Please mark my words: Hunkar Begendi (translation: "the sultan liked it"), a regional specialty of roasted beef in a very smoky eggplant puree. Not to belittle Serkos's other delicious Armenian and regional delicacies, but his Hunkar Begendi is to die for! In a nutshell: great service, down-to-earth atmosphere.

Serkos is a family owned restaurant with great, "honest" food and the closest to authentic middle-eastern and Armenian recipes we have tasted in Greece. We have been in Serkos several times for the last 3 years. The quality of the food and service is always consistent : very good, every time we had dinner there. The traditional flat bread comes...
