Best chill out place in Flores

With a view at the flooded side of the lake, it was the perfect setting for a rainy monday morning.. nice coffe, decent food and strong coctails, several good books up for exchange and great atmosphere. By far the best of the places we visited in Flores, totally recommend it!

The place is nice and chill. There are plenty of sitting options, we opted for the closest to the lake. You can rent canoes or just drink a coffee, but we had lunch (pesto pasta with chicken and homemade bread with a free beer). It's cheap. Last but not least, it has a bookshelf.

Forget about the food… it is the ambience what you enjoy here, if you are a true heir of the 60s/70s and part of the Woodstock generation. I just had to listen for 5 minutes to the music playing and look around me to knew I was going to have a very good time in this place. We came for... More

The food was good, the coffee was outstanding (best coffee I had in Guatemala by far), the owner was super nice, but oh my... oh my goodness.. the view, first thing in the morning, while lingering about, waiting for stuff to open... definitely get up early and sit on the balcony. Sorry to imply profanity, but I was making a... More

Good food and picked up a free map of the local area which was far more useful than the one we got from the tourist information desk.

We came here for a drink. Pleasantly surprised wifi is fast. Hubby ordered a coffee and they even topped it up. I had the chilled chat drink. They gave sugar but syrup would have been better. You enter into a garden setting with thatched roof. The inside is hip and they play cool music. Bird and chicken sounds, wind blowing... More

A fabulous place to while away an afternoon in the cool shade of the back garden sitting in one of the several hammocks. The beer is cold, reasonably priced and the the burger I had was very tasty. The owners are friendly and relaxed so if you need somewhere to chill and take in the lake views spend a few... More

super fast and available for takeout as well. Cheap and tasty. I had just the traditional breakfast- they have thick cut toast which i hadn't seen anywhere and was wicked good. For 28Q, you are fed quite a nice meal.

Stopped in for lunch today after a boat tour around the lake. We found the atmosphere to be fun and laid back. The food was fresh and tasted great. A great little spot. Wed definitely stop by again if we were going to be on Flores much longer.
