Café Malaga's food is mediocre, and the management dismal. We visited during Oktoberfest, so I was concerned about parking, and called ahead to find out what the situation was. I was told they didn't offer valet, but I shouldn't have trouble parking in their private lot since my reservation was so early (6 pm). I was driving from Fort Worth,... More

We have eaten and enjoyed our tapas at Cafe Malaga and wanted our son & daughter-in-law to try the food. I called yesterday when they were not open to ask if they sold gift certificates. A manager answered the phone and I was told yes but he could not talk as he had to be somewhere. I thanked him &... More

This place is the closest we have found, to the original concept of "tapas" It is a modest restaurant, but if you are in the mood of enjoying a glass of wine and a frugal lunch/dinner its OK.

Outdoor seating and the old house turned into a restuarant, love it. Food is very good, service is good as well. Live music on the weekends. Great for small parties.

My husband and I are frequent visitors to Cafe Malaga. The food is not fabulous but is above average, but it is the atmosphere that keeps us coming back. The outdoor seating is casual and relaxed, the service is good. The wine list could be better but I'm not complaining.

We came from Fort Worth to McKinney to have dinner with some friends. They suggested this restaurant. I read the reviews and was a little hesitant and also noticed no prices on the menu. Once we got there, we were seated outside in a very quaint little area. Loved the ambiance of the outdoor dining area. There was live music... More

We were lucky enough to visit the restaurant on a rare pleasant evening in July which allowed us to eat outside on the patio. It was fun ordering numerous tapas, and everything was so good! Special mention goes to the Lollipop Lamp Chops, tiger shrimp, Malaga croquettes, bacon-wrapped dates and sweet red pepper with a goat cheese center. Enjoyed the... More

We weren't impressed with the food, service was slow and food didn't have good flavor and under cooked, and over priced! We won't go back.

We have been frequenting this restaurant since the time the original founder built this theme restaurant in it's original location. She was fortunate to move to a larger and more attractive venue some years ago. The current owner has built on the success but in absent and the place has suffered from neglect and sloppy service. I hope he recognizes... More

Myself and a friend went here for a quick dinner one saturday evening. Such a shame we couldn't stay for longer. It's definitely a place where you could sit for a few hours and browse over a meal. You can choose entree size portions but I loved the fact you could choose numerous appetizer plates and mix and match with... More
