Our absolute favorite place for Tex Mex and authentic Mexican choices. The habanero (house) salsa is the best anywhere. The extensive menu is a great combination of tex-me and traditional Mexican dishes. It's located in the beautiful downtown historic district of McKinney,Tx. This is clearly a family-owned restaurant. On Sunday, the kids are hanging out, walking around, talking to moms, going in and out of the kitchen. I had burritos compuestos, which were more like enchiladas than I expected. A large portion. They were fine. Nothing special, however. My wife and I love Mexican food. We eat it, we cook it, we seek it out. Surely with a name like Juarez it's got to be good. NOT SO! Ok let me start this by saying if you are looking for up-scale decor, and fancy decorations, this is not your place. BUT, If you want real, good old fashioned Texas syle Mexican food, the kind you remi\ember from High school (if you were lucky enough to be a real Texan), this is the place in McKinney to go to.... This place is TEX MEX. very good tex mex too. People say its Authentic Mexican because the place is a "hole in the wall". It's not bland authentic Mexican it's Authentic Tex mex! When you first walk in, you wonder if they actually serve food... But this genuine mexican restaurant florishes at night. It is crowded, live music on weekends and the food is just simply delicious

the appearance is not of a high class rest., is very simple.
