The best restaurant in McKinney, by a mile. I'd maybe even venture so far as to say my favorite restaurant, EVER. Gregory's made me love scallops, and meat cooked rarer than I'd typically like. Everything. Is. Good. Gregory and Lydia are a prize to downtown McKinney.

This restaurant is amazing and charming in so many ways. The food is possibly the best preparation I have ever had. We didn't bring any wine and it was still amazing. They have the option of letting you tell them what wine you are drinking and they tailor a meal to go with it. Very creative, we can't wait to... More

We have enjoyed visiting this fine establishment since they opened. The hostess (Gregory's wife) welcomes into the French country style atmosphere and the waitstaff (that has been with them consistently over the years) are all professional. This is all to say the most important asset they have is the chef's variety and creativity. Better quisine is hard to find at... More

My husband and I have eaten here several times for dinner. Also, I have taken clients here for lunch. The food is pretty good and we love the fact that we can bring our own wine. The wait staff is a little over-the-top and tries to act like this is some fancy place in NYC. The waitress constantly says the... More

My wife and I have been to Gregory's four or five times, and it has been exceptional each time. We highly recommend the option where you let Gregory create the courses for you based on your likes/dislikes and your choice of wine. Always wonderful are the scallops, filet, unique salads, creme brûlée, and bread pudding. Reservations are needed, as it... More

This is a small location with limited seating. We were there on a Saturday night at the early seating-5:30. You can bring your own bottle of wine for a $5 corkage fee. We had the pork chop and the trout which was wonderful . The service was very friendly and on key with the Owner welcoming us. Please note that... More

I absolutely love Gregory's Bistro. The main reasons: It is tiny, BYOB, and run by the owner herself who is nothing shy of delightful. All of the food I've ever had there has been very good. My only wish is that they would go with a more traditional garlic butter escargot - though their preparation (Sautéed Escargot, Shallots, Grapes, Pecan,... More

Definitely need reservations. The food was delicious. One of the specials was a 14 oz rib eye which was way too big for one of us. We were able to split it and add extra veggies for a satisfying meal. The bread pudding is a must -- light and "just right" sweet. Staff were very attentive.

I love this little place. And the fact that it is BYOB. My favorite items are any of the fish entrees or the pork chop. Mussels are yummy too. There is a shop just across the street that sells great wine if you forget to bring yours. One of our favorite places to go. If you are a second seating,... More
