A taste of France in Texas

A truely small French Bistro. Friendly service and wonderful food. The house specialty is rack of lamb and its worth the time. Its is prepared to order so your wait time is a bit but, being a BYOB establishment makes it much easier. Very small personal establishment. Enjoy!!!

Gregory's bistro serves great food prepared by chef/owner Gregory, surrounded with excellent hostess/co-owner/wife Lydia. Servers are very attentive and friendly. We always leave feeling that we've had a fun evening.

We really enjoyed the food and service. Seating is a bit cramped and there was one of those cackling ladies in a large party that did her best to ruin everyone else's night, but our server was excellent at keeping us distracted. It's byob so stop by one of the wineries on the square and grab a bottle or two.... More

my husband and I had a special occasion to celebrate and this place had been recommended by several friends and acquaintances. it's bring your own bottle with a $5 corkage fee so we splurged Oma bottle of French Champagne. When we arrived they took the wine and popped it In an ice bucket, brought glasses and Served it straight away.... More

Had lunch there with my son and both truly enjoyed their Salmon and of course famous bread pudding. Service as always was great and we love their fresh bread.

Gregory's is a consistently excellent restaurant. We celebrate birthdays and anniversaries here. It is small and intimate and Lydia knows us. We always get the mussels as an appetizer. Yum! We usually get one if the specials for an entree and we have never been disappointed. Dessert is a debate for us. All if them are excellent.. If it our... More

Been here twice, the grilled caesar salad and bread pudding are so good. First time I went I had the pork chop which was excellent.... this time I had the pork again but it was a boneless chop (I was told ahead of time that the chop would be boneless) and it was not as good. We were celebrating our... More

This is my favorite restaurant in McKinney. It is very small so reservations are recommended. The trout and sea bass are always wonderful. My husband loves the lamb. Its BYOB which i like. The only dish i have had i did not like was the tuna. I felt it was overcooked. If you havent tried it, you should!

We have been visiting Gregory's Bistro off and on over the last 4 years. We dined here again last night after about a year hiatus. The food was decent but it has slid enough that I would no longer say that it is worth the price. A long time favorite of mine has been to pair their Rainbow Trout plate... More

First... It's BYOB. Good news is that McKinney Wine Merchant is right across the street with an excellent selection from which to choose. The food and service are both very very good. Very small… But that makes it special Fine dining at mid range prices
