I have been known to have Gregory's mussels appetizer as a meal. Gregory does a different sauce every day. I usually eat a small loaf of french bread with the sauce. This is always a great experience. On this visit I had sea bass which is also very good. We enjoy the byob. Gregory will do a specific menu menue... More

Normally we would drive into Dallas for a special occasion especially an anniversary however when my husband was going to have to work late we decided it would be a great chance to try Gregory's. We ordered the chef's choice meal. Four surprise courses chosen by the chef was a fantastic way to go. We savored every bite. We will... More

My wife and I had the opportunity to return to Gregory's Bistro after being away a couple of years. It was a special anniversary occasion, so we wanted to be assured of great food, without being rushed through our dinner. Gregory’s Bistro it is a very small and cozy restaurant just off the square in downtown McKinney. Chef Gregory and... More

Very small BYOB restaurant that turns out consistently outstanding fare. It is our favorite spot in town. Did I mention BYOB? Bring your own or buy something from Andy (McKinney Wine Merchant) across the street. $5 corkage fee per table, not bottle. The staff is on top of things and Lydia (manager, hostess, and chef's wife) makes you feel at... More

I enjoyed the food in this restaurant. You need to make a reservation because the place is not too big. The service is great and the food is excellent. It is BYOB.

The best restaurant in McKinney, by a mile. I'd maybe even venture so far as to say my favorite restaurant, EVER. Gregory's made me love scallops, and meat cooked rarer than I'd typically like. Everything. Is. Good. Gregory and Lydia are a prize to downtown McKinney.

This restaurant is amazing and charming in so many ways. The food is possibly the best preparation I have ever had. We didn't bring any wine and it was still amazing. They have the option of letting you tell them what wine you are drinking and they tailor a meal to go with it. Very creative, we can't wait to... More

We have enjoyed visiting this fine establishment since they opened. The hostess (Gregory's wife) welcomes into the French country style atmosphere and the waitstaff (that has been with them consistently over the years) are all professional. This is all to say the most important asset they have is the chef's variety and creativity. Better quisine is hard to find at... More

My husband and I have eaten here several times for dinner. Also, I have taken clients here for lunch. The food is pretty good and we love the fact that we can bring our own wine. The wait staff is a little over-the-top and tries to act like this is some fancy place in NYC. The waitress constantly says the... More
