We had some great food at Rick's, but the lack of execution on the details caused us to walk away disappointed, most likely not to return. For starters,we had the crab dip and the beet salad. The crab dip and homemade chips were five stars all the way. Flavorful and full of surprises. Loved the Texas caviar :) We were... More

Great atmosphere, service, and food, but make a reservation for weekends. This place stays packed. As wonderful as their signature steak dishes are, the elk and sea bass are just as tasty and definitely worth a try. A very knowledgeable staff is a big plus.

I ate here with a group of work colleagues ; there were 15 of us in total. We ate in an alcove off the main dining hall and had a fantastic time. The service was top notch where our waitress had total comprehension of the food and drink menus. When the food arrived, it was all within a few moments... More

The Sunday Champaign was excellent, and a great value for the price. We have dined at Ricks on several other occasions, but never for their brunch. There was a good selection of food choices, both breakfast and lunch varieties. Prime rib is always on the menu. According to our server, other selections may change a little from week to week.... I have reviewed Rick's Chophouse restaurant previously and it was wonderful. This review involves the private room in the back. I was there again for a wedding rehearsal dinner and as hoped it was a great evening. The food is wonderful. We had flat iron steaks which were prepared to perfection. Potatoes and asparagus also excellent as was dessert of... More

Daughter and I wanted to try something different for her birthday and Ricks had great reviews. They were packed so had to eat at the lounge but that was fine. Service was great and the 45 day dry aged New York Strip was perfect. We also had the loaded baked potato, creamed Spinich, and the Mexican Corn sides. I am... More

I was a little disappointed on my first visit-group of eight. The restaurant itself is very attractive. The menu and wine list are clear with a good mix of dishes and reasonable wine prices. The Texas mule (from the mixed drink menu) was pricey but delicious. Most of our group got steaks-ordered from rare to medium. My first complaint was... More

Great family atmosphere in front and a fun "man cave" bar vibe in the back. Delicious steaks and creative side dishes. Service is outstanding and pricing is commensurate with the quality of the entire experience.

Went to Ricks for brunch in the fall. Fall seems to mean that several options must be pumpkin or other squash based dishes. Not my favorite so maybe that's why it didn't excite me personally. There were two small rooms containing different selections. The carving station was manned for sliced to suit ham, turkey, and other meats. One table had... More

We are able to make it to Ricks a couple times a year, and I am always amazed at his ability to maintain such a high level of service even when the restaurant is slammed busy. I am guilty of living life on a much to fast pace, but this is one of the times where I will willingly rope... More
