The food is great with many choices of entres. Steak is of course the specialty. There is also chicken and seafood. I normally get the shrimp, which is very good. The rest of my family get the steaks. It has great atmosphere and I would highly recommend the Santa Fe. Warning it is expensive but worth it.

Went to this restaurant with a colleague while in a business trip to McAllen. I had a filet mignon with asparagus and crab meat on top of the steak. Very good steak, with good flavor and very tender. Overall, very good meal.

I ways like to go to Santa feel to eat dinner. It is pricey so cannot do it often. I usually order the prime rib. It has good flavor. For desert they have good bread pudding.

I had a dinner program for about 20 so we got our own room with 2 waiters. Everyone had great drinks and when the appetizers ran out they quickly got more. The salads and entrees were served quietly and efficiently during the presentation. Dessert service was a little slow but overall great service and process. As far as the food... More

Lot of non-steak options also including for Vegetarians (surprisingly) But Steaks (Filet) was delicious. Not a bad wine selection. Outdoor seating is fantastic not sure in Texas Summer.. Overall fantastic place and will sure visit on the next visit to this area

Santa Fe has been the best restaurant in the RGV area since I can remember. great steaks and seafood. The best they have is the twice baked potato side, best I have ever tried anywhere.

I hadn't been here in several years. The expanded outdoor patio dining area is beautiful! We were a little chilly, but there were plenty of space heaters to make us comfortable. I went to dinner with my family on Good Friday, and it was tough to not eat steak at a steakhouse, but the fish dishes were amazing. I'd forgotten... More

This is the place for a business or formal dinner. Service is excellent and the steaks are cooked to your selection. The ribeye never disappoints and their sides are enough for two. The wine list is the best in the city with a large selection. Indoor outdoor patio bar is usually cool enough to enjoy dinner with a date.

I have been several times, and have not really been disappointed. I usually get beef- tried the steaks and prime rib a few times, and I have to say, it probably is the best place to get a steak meal in the RGV. The table bread is good, the salads are also pretty good. I enjoy the red wines and... More
