If you want something simple, tasty, fresh, & enjoyable then the place to be is Delia's. The service is great, the place is clean, & it's difficult not to order take-out.

You pay a very low price for such high quality food! Everything is fresh and the tamales just melt in your mouth! We were interested in taking a... More

Was in McAllen for my best friend's wedding and, of course, Delia's tamales were part of the feast. I was too busy to have any at the reception and am bummed about that. They were consumed at a rapid rate! Need to go back and get me some. Pork is awesome but my favorite is the jalapeño and cheese!

I dream about these tamales. I moved to Omaha and when my parents come visit, I ask them to bring Delia's pork tamales! You can go to their website and order them although shipping is super expensive.

The tamales at this restaurant are great. My husband can easily eat 2 dozen by himself! I have heard plenty of people talk about it and decided to try it myself. Definitely something to try while in the Valley.

You cannot go wrong getting your tamales at Delia's. All are delicious. There is nothing upscale or luxurious about the location, but the tamales are so worth it. Just like mom used to make!
