I went with a group and had been here before. The food was great the first time, but this time I didn't get to try it. Here is how the visit went: A friend asked if a certain sauce was spicy (as he was supposed to avoid spicy foods due to a stomach condition). The waitress assured him it was... More

The only real draw back about this place is the location. I don't like traveling to this part of McAllen and that's cause I grew up in the neighborhood near by. And I think because the food is so good and it has so much potential. I want this place to thrive and stick around for years to come because... More

If you travel around McAllen, you may have driven by the place and never thought twice about it. Was impressed to find some excellent hot dogs (yes there are several varieties). The service is great and the food is good. All I can say is... "Just try it". If you aren't into hot dogs, they have other food that is... More

Had a chance to visit this place over the weekend. It was extremely hot outside and it felt great to walk into a dark and cool place. I tried the Hawaiian dog and thought it was great, my husband tried the Chicago dog and liked . Service was great. Overall a cool place to eat, however, I did feel the... More

I had read about this place prior to my arrival, but due to work, had not had the chance to stop by until today. Upon entering establishment, the first thing I noticed was how dark it was, which coming in from a blazing, bright sun, the dark room was welcomed with open arms. I was seated promptly, and served my... More

An unassuming little spot sandwiched between a gas station & garage, I've driven past here for years. I stopped in a few weeks back on a friend's recommendation, and all I can say is "wow!". Huge selection of all kinds of food. The Chicago dog is authentic, as are the wonderful Italian beef sandwiches. They also have Mexican & Italian... More

I had the Italian beef sandwich. Great flavor, moist meat, loaded full into a grilled bun. They served it with an olive and pepper mix that was perfect. The staff were freindly and attentive.

Amazing family owned eatery, with a wide variety of food, not just hot dogs! But speaking of hot dogs, I'll start there, they are the best hot dogs I have ever tasted. Huge variety, from the classic Chicago to the spicy Mexican, delicious. But there's Mexican and Italian food also, the service is OUTSTANDING, very friendly, the owner goes out... More

Man oh man this place is good. I'm so glad they moved to their new location on Bicentennial and Bus 83. They have a hawaiian dog with pineapple and avocado that is to die for, no joke. I've tried a few other kinds and I was impressed with them as well. The Chicago dog was good, the German was okay,... More
