From the country style atmosphere to the down home cooking, Tuffy's has always been a family favorite. Especially adored are the warm rolls and homemade desserts.

I had several issues with our latest experience.... Half of the side orders from the menu we tried to order were "out"....our waiter was less than pleasant....the food was mediocre...the worst part was that there is now a charge for the famous Tuffy's rolls, although worth the cost, seriously? Thank you for saving and reviving a longtime favorite restaurant. New owners have CLEANED, re-trained and improved Tuffy's Restaurant in Mauriceville. The favorite Tuffy's rolls are still as moth-watering as ever and the new menu is great. We enjoyed the catfish and stuffed shrimp. Both...out of this world! Excellent food, great service. Desserts, yummy. They have an excellent variety in food from Chicken fried steak to spicy crawfish. Love the fried catfish dinners.

The meal started with a cup of rely good shrimp gumbo. The chicken fried steak was very good and the sides of fried okra and green beans were both tops.
