Good place to eat in Marfa

Squeeze is a fun (very) little place in Marfa. They have a fun selection for both breakfast and lunch and some choices even feature local products. IF we are ever in Marfa again, I'd definitely stop back by and grab a bite to eat. They also sell some products right in the dining area, including... read more

Door sign said it was open until 3 on the day we were there. Doors locked, no one around, when we arrived at 2:40p. We walked all the way there from our car parked fairly far away and not only did we not get to eat, now we were too far from other restaurants that closed at 3 to try... More

We're so sorry you left with this impression of us! Unfortunately, our owner has been faced with some personal emergencies this past week, and we apologize if this occurred on the day of your visit. We're so much more hospitable than this, and if you're ever back in our area, we'd love nothing more than the chance to prove that... More

Strange tasting smoothy. Paid$7 and couldn't drink it. Wanted to return but service not very friendly so didn't want to even ask. They were out of all the things we wanted to order and settled on a carrot protein smoothie that tasted funky.

We're sorry to hear you left feeling this way. Our apologies for the lack of items, our owner had an emergency this weekend so we did all we could for the time being. The carrot protein smoothie contains hemp protein (as stated on the menu), and that can sometimes turn people off. We hope you'll be willing to give us... More

We're so glad you gave our place a shot while visiting Marfa! Compliments like these really mean a lot to us, and it's awesome to know we've earned a new fan of our Swiss chocolates! Anytime you're back out in West Texas, we'd love to host you again. Take care, Squeeze Marfa More

My husband grew up in Marfa so for us, a road trip from the DFW area was already preset with ideas of history and the way things were. We decided to stay in the Hotel Paisano for two nights and faced the day with where to eat for any meal. My husband wanted Mexican food as the area has always... More

While we're definitely glad you decided to take a break for Mando's and give us a shot, we wish you'd left with a better impression of us. You're completely right -- our coffee is much different than a typical Starbucks brew, but we'd like to think that's what sets us apart. While first impressions are hard to shake, we'd appreciate... Squeeze was listed as a "Swiss Cafe", and came recommended by someone at the Hotel Paisano where we stayed while in Marfa. Let me save you some money. Don't go there.$8 for a continental breakfast consisting of three slices of swiss cheese, a thin slice of an orange, and a croissant. To add one egg was an additioanl $3. We... More

It's certainly disappointing to hear you left feeling this way. We'd like to think that our emphasis on high-quality ingredients is reflected in the prices, so we're sorry you didn't leave with that impression. According to our price list, the continental breakfast is $6.50, and with the addition of two eggs for $3.50, your meal should've come out to $10.00,... More

We stayed at Hotel Paisano and walked around the corner for a great breakfast at Squeeze. It was very popular (crowded) so we had to wait about 20 minutes to get to the counter and order. We had oatmeal which was delicious - well cooked individual flakes and not gluey or soupy and the granola yogurt parfait with fresh fruit... More

Hearing the word 'delicious' used to describe our breakfast definitely put a smile on our faces! Our apologies for the wait, but we certainly hope it was all worth it. Anytime you're back in our neck of the woods, we hope to be lucky enough to host you again! Safe travels, Squeeze Marfa More

This is my second trip to Marfa, and second time for lunch at Squeeze Marfa. I had the Pollo Mumaypé panini style sandwich and it was absolutely fantastic! It had nice chunks of chicken with apple, celery, and raisins topped with tomato and a pesto. a little unconventional for chicken salad but it was excellent. I noticed another patron ordered... Tasty coffee, good selection of very filling breakfast entrees. The sandwich baguette was particularly good and large;I took some home for afternoon snack. Friendly service, unique atmosphere. Part of the local scene, another must visit in addition to Paisano Hotel and Cochineal.

Squeeze is only open from 6 AM to 3 PM. The waffle I had could be topped with mixed berries, whipped cream, and/or melted chocolate. It was excellent. My wife had the yogurt parfait(yogurt, granola, and mixed berries), which was also excellent. We liked the place so much that we went back again the next morning and both had the... More

WoW!! Where do I start. This place came highly recommended when we stayed at El Cosmico. I dont think Ive ever been in an establishment where there was so contempt for the customers. 5 of us all looking for breakfast. Greeted by attitude. Bad manners. Banging the plates on our table. Getting the orders wrong. Wanting to argue over a... More
