Good Pizza & Music but Austin Band

A nice couple from Dallas shared pizza with us because they ran out but I heard it took almost an hour to get food. It was pretty good though. We just went for the weekend and came across Padre's while walking around. We loved the rocking music we heard from "Mrs. Glass" but they are from our... read more

We stopped here for a beer before calling it a night. We, unfortunately, visited Marfa during the week so the bar was not too happening when we stopped by. There are pool tables, shuffleboard and a ping pong table so I can see this being a great hang out place. There is a cool gigantic metallic cowboy that is perfectly... More

Typical West Texas bar scene with great music of the up and coming Blan Scott Band and locals dancing. Blan appeals to the ladies.

We were here on a Football Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to find the game on 2 TV's and some great football fans. Was a friendly crowd and a lively bar. Great selection of beers. I could definitely hang out here. We didn't try the food, but the burgers coming out of the kitchen smelled delicious.

This was a treat-- -to find while in Marfa for the New Year's week...and most everything is closed. The special surprise was the stage they have there and the musicians that come to play. SO...for New Year's Eve we listened to a live concert of Jimmy Dale Gilmore, Butch Hancock and their two sons, Collin Gilmore and Rory Hancock. The... More

We went to Padre's early, before the live music started, which suited us fine -- we just wanted to eat and drink. The bar has a good selection of beers on draft and bottled, as well as harder stuff like Tito's vodka. We had huge, luscious cheeseburgers with jalapeños, and a basket of sweet potato fries. Everything was perfect. The... More

When we saw the billboard with $1 Jell-O shots and DJ crazy legs we were intrigued. We want and there were not many people there. There are some shuffleboard games and air hockey out back,'but the energy was just not there. We were really interested in DJ crazy legs set and on the billboard it said he was playing 9:30-1:30-... We went at padre's on our only night in Marfa since it was the only open place we found. There was a country singer with is guitar so it was really nice. We ate sweet potato fries and hot wings, both were good!

i get to talk to visitors in town often and try to tell of each great place to eat. The bar has had a few cooks past few years but know there specialy made burgers are the best in town ( not the giant one at Jets bar & grill) Reminded me of the movie ''Batteries Not Incluced''. A lady... More

Cool bar with a dance area at the front (live band that played when we were there was fun). And an area in the back for bar games including foosball, ping pong and shuffleboard. They also have a patio but it was raining so didn't get to experience it. They close at midnight.
