Lighter than air falafel wrap served by the suave Adam Bork. These are big and delicious. We will always eat Food Shark in Marfa!

When I saw the line for this food truck located under the pavilion by the railroad tracks and Highway 17 in Marfa, two questions crossed my mind. Is there a line because it's the only thing open this afternoon or is it because it's awesome food? To my delight, it was because of it's awesome food! I ordered the fatoush... More

Popped in under the shaded overhang to indulge in a great lunch. Most of us had some version of the combo plate with its moist and satisfying falafel and hummus and greek salad. Others inhaled the tacos and we all loved our Mexican Cokes. Located on the main drag it was great to be out of the sun and relax... More

My wife & I shared a meatball sandwich with a side salad. Very good on both cases. There was a short line & we had to wait 20 or 30 minutes. It was worth the wait.

This place is the best to have a delicious lunch for a good value in Marfa! If you are in Marfa when it's closes (sunday to tuesday I think), go to their "sister Shop": la Comida Futura (former Future Shark). Same kind of food and prices but différent and open almost everyday for lunch! Loved it!! And staff is super... More

The Food Shark is a mobile kitchen parked under a large canopy on the main drag in downtown Marfa. Long wooden tables sprawl under the shade, occupied by tourists, local residents, and many of the refugees from the 1960s who inhabit Marfa. A kid singing and playing guitar provided entertainment as you wait about half an hour for the gent... More

We stopped in at the recommendation of a UC Berkeley teacher, writer/translator and temporary Marfa resident we met camping near the Rio Grande...you do meet the coolest folks down there. The first item on the menu, a falafel hummus wrap was to die for. I don't usually eat much, but I took down that whole thing. We still crave the... More

My husband and I ate here on a Saturday at lunch time. I had the Marfalafel which included 3 falafel balls with lettuce, cucumber, tomato and hummus, served on top of a flour tortilla. My husband had a salad with quinoa, sliced tomatoes and flatbread. We both agreed that our lunches were yummy and perfectly hit the spot. I also... More

All the 5 star reviews are right. The food is freshly prepared on the spot. I had the delicious marfalafel. The young man taking the order asked if I wanted it with hummus. As I had never had it before, I didn't know. He said, "Trust me, you do." He was right. The truck arrived at noon underneath the large... More
