Great find in West Texas

The food shark is cool in a way that most places will never understand. The place is like a cool junkyard with great food. A random assortment of 60's and 70's cars with 'food shark' painted on the side, an old food truck, some tables and chairs and an old school bus converted into a 'dining car... read more

Tacos & coke on gravel with dusty tables. Very nice guys. Food was good. At least there is a place open for lunch - surprisingly hard to find a place to eat lunch in Marfa. Definitely not the best place to eat in Marfa.

Lunch options, especially "light" lunch options, are surprisingly hard to find in Marfa, so the Food Shark is really special. We had the falafel and the lamb kebab and both were quite good. The tables are outside in the sun, so if it's hot, watch out!

It doesn't look like much when you arrive Food Shark's stark lot, which includes non-matching tables and chairs, trailers, buses and an odd assortment of other things, but the food was great and we so enjoyed our "marfalafel" with hummus among other dishes. We ate under an informal umbrella-like set up nearby to shade ourselves from the sun. There is... More

Everyone in town recommended me and my friends to go to this place. The food was so good! and also they had a variety of plates including a lot of vegetarian / vegan choices. A lot of hipster vibe and cool concept and design for a restaurant.

We've known about this trailer for a long time and were happy to find it open. The grounds are unkept and shabby but I get the impression that the shabbiness comes with the attitude around here. Otherwise the Lamb Kabob with flatbread and hummus was excellent.

Food very good, mostly hummus based but meat available, cleanliness limping. Also indoor sitting area in an old school bus.

We travel extensively and have been lucky enough to enjoy kebab all over the world. We really think that they lamb version we had at the Food Shark in Marfa Texas was one of the best we have ever had, seriously. Now realize that the Food Shark is a trailer that parks in the center of Marfa. There are a... More
