Fantastic quirky foodtruck

Loved this place for my little Marfa detour. Fits the locale perfect, you can even take yor meal to the school bus in the back.. The Falafal wrap is to die for.. If im back in Marfa, I hope the shark is still swimming.. 🐋

we came upon this much-lauded truck with but one man ordering, so as a decade long HIGH-END former 30 year former Lebanese restaurant worker, the mildly friendly, if overly business-like orderer versus the fun/friendly cook, i was THRILLED to eat some traditional Lebanese food. at BEST, and this is hard to say as the cook was a really friendly man,... Before heading out to attractions in Marfa, make sure to check days of operation! Many places are closed on Monday and Tuesday; some on Wednesday also. Hours are also limited. We were disappointed to find the Food Shark closed but were delighted with the yumminess of Marfa Burritos.

The falafel is as good as advertised, but there is no reason to ever wait 45 minutes for food from a truck. Oh wait, there is a reason: when nothing else in town is open. The hours and days of opening are weird and should not be relied upon. It's a very laid back town and that is cool, but... More

This is going to be your best lunch option in Marfa, and yes it's a food truck, because there are not many available options in town coupled with some places just don't open according to their hours. Food is great, however menu options are very limited. We loved the lamb kebab and the bbq pull pork sandwich. Outdoor picnic table... More

Of course I had to try the famous Food Shark when I was in Marfa - I had a lamb kebab with hummus and pita chips. Very tasty, and the chips were toasted to perfection.

Ok, it's a food truck! It's an old food truck, parked in a lot with an old junky bus next to it that is the dining car, and a covered patio with tables and chairs. But the food is fab. Well worth the money. I had the lamb kabobs and they were awesome. The smoker is across the street in... More

it was fun to go here, sitting outside between a trailer and a bus (which you can sit inside), under a shaded area.

After hearing raving reviews about this place we were eager to try it out while in town for the weekend. The first time we went during regular hours but we waited to go later after waiting forever the night before at the same basic place for late night grilled cheese. We noticed a very limited menu for the weekend which... More

First, the guy at the window offered to barter if we didn't have cash at the window. That's freaking awesome! We had just arrived from Austin and Food Shark was #1 on our list. It's pup friendly so we took our boy up to the window and ordered two Marfa falafels. Fresh. Veggies like the cucumber and tomato were crispy... More
