Busy local restaurant, a bit of a gem.

Well this place is not at all fancy, a bit old fashioned but extremely popular. We had to wait for a seat ( 5 minutes) but the staff were very welcoming. We just had pie but may be tempted to go back for more some day when passing!

This place has been in business since 1929. Had breakfast there and it was the real deal. Had the one of the omelets. Came with hashbrowns, and homemade bisquits with cream gravy. Left there feeling very content after a hearty breakfast. Only takes cash though, no credit card. But not worry as they have an ATM if you forget the... More

Great food! Driving through and reviews on trip advisor looked good so decided to try it. It was the prime dinner hour. Worried when there was a long line going out the door but the line moved fast and the food was definitely worth the short wait. Will drive out of way to eat here again.

This place was all that we was told it would be. The food was excellent. Waitress was awesome and the pies were very good. Must see and eat here.

We went for a (late) breakfast on a Saturday in January. The line was out the door but it's kind of the only place in town for breakfast, so we waited. It was definitely worth! You can't get food like this for so cheap in Austin. Get anything. Get everything. It's so dang good.

We have passed thru Marble Falls many times and saw the Blue Bonnet. We tried for lunch on Saturday and it was packed. We opted for Sunday breakfast. We both had eggs over easy. Overall, the meal was a good, average breakfast. However, the pies waiting for the day look wonderful with the doughnuts and cinnamon rolls equally impressive.

This was my first visit to the Blue Bonnet but not the last. I ordered the 4-piece fried catfish fillets with green beans, pinto beans, and fried okra. The catfish was very tasty and decent sized thick fillets. The green beans and pinto beans were good. The fried okra was nice large pieces fried perfectly. The rolls were large, soft,... More

Blue Bonnet Cafe will always be that hometown cafe for a great value meal and exceptional pies. The cinnamon rolls are the size of your head and all the other menu items are a decent size.

What a lucky break to be in town on January 2, the day the Blue Bonnet opened up after their Christmas break. This place will knock your socks off and provide you with the best of comfort food, friendly service and a sense of being with family when you are on the road. You absolutely MUST save room for some... More
