Delicious food, great wait staff - and the cafe atmosphere we remembered as kids. We wanted to treat our friend visiting from Poland to the traditional American cafe dining experience and the Blue Bonnet delivered on every count! Thanks to the great staff and a wonderful hill country cafe breakfast.

The Blue Bonnet is often said to have the best breakfast in Texas. I don't think it rises quite to that level, but you WILL enjoy your breakfast, or anything else you order. Try to avoid weekends around brunch time, when the line will go out the door. Cash only, so be aware.

A few of the negative reviews on this place make me wonder what these folks expect when they go to a place like this. This is an old-fashioned, comfortable diner with very good (not five star) food in the kind of atmosphere I thought was dead. The service is excellent, and I would imagine, based on my experience in the... More

We stopped at the Blue Bonnet Cafe for their happy hour pie special--slice of pie and a drink for $4.00. We all order a different pie--german chocolate, chocolate meringue, apple pie and coconut cream. They all tasted great! The meringue on top is HUGE! It was a fun stop during our visit to Marble Falls.

I ate at this restaurant two days in a row. Both days the food was delicious and the served quickly. They serve breakfast all hours. Menu items include meat loaf, chicken and dumplings, pot roast and much more. They serve several types of pie including fruit pies, cream pies and meringue pies. Only cash and checks are accepted. There is... More

After visiting Hamilton pool we made the extra trip to go to the Blue Bonnet Café and it was one of the Best meals I have ever had during my travels. It was featured on a Texas travel show I watched about a month ago and it truly lives up to it's reputation. service was friendly and the food and... More

Great home-style cooking with daily specials and lots of other choices. I had the chicken and dumplings that came with three delicious fresh vegetables and scrumptious cornbread. Yummy! The next day I came back for lunch and had the small chicken fried steak. It was so tender that a knife wasn't needed for cutting the best chicken fried steak I've... More

My daughter and I stopped for lunch as we passed through Marble Falls. The line for a table was out the door, but we were able to sit at the counter. The waitress was efficient but not very friendly. My daughter loved her chicken fried steak sandwich and milkshake, and my BLT was tasty. My husband said the cherry pie... More

We came for a late lunch mainly to beat the dinner crowd. Every time we come the food is good the waitresses are prompt and friendly. Be sure to get a pie to take home. There great.

The breakfast here is above average and the service is always outstanding. But the coffee is terrible, so I never eat here. There is no excuse for weak, low-quality coffee in this day and time.
