A favorite breakfast spot!

Really like this place for breakfast. Waitstaff are friendly & efficient, lines go fast, and traditional breakfasts (pancakes/sausage & eggs/bacon/hashbrowns/biscuits) are very good. For homestyle cooking, this is the place!

The service was HORRIBLE to say the least. The waitresses were rude. We asked for coffee they did not even bring the cream. My wife waited for 10 minutes, then decided to get up and get it from an empty table. Everybody was staring at us. They took forever to serve us and the place was not even busy. They... More

If I am passing through Marble Falls in the afternoon I always stop here for Pie Happy Hour (3 to 5 p.m.). Who needs alcohol when you can indudge in a big slice of heaven. My favorite is the German Chocolate Pie, but they are all great. They also serve a big menu of down home cookin' with generous portions... More

We ate supper at the Blue Bonnet Café while on vacation. This café has been an icon in the Texas Hill Country for many years. The service and food lived up to their reputation. I had the Wednesday meat loaf special and my wife had the chicken fried chicken. They were both excellent with a selection of three sides. There... More

How could this be better? Only if it was located in Dallas where we live! My husband had the pot roast special with sides, one of which was spinach soup with bacon on top. I had a half chef salad to save room for pie. Oh my, the homemade pie is out of this world delicious. I had the coconut... More

I've been stopping here for at least 50 years. Seldom do I drive thru Marble Falls that I don't stop and enjoy the food at Blue Bonnet Cafe. Anything I say has been said before, I had the Chicken Fried Steak and it was Great. (sound better when the tiger says it.) I suggest getting there early or late, but... More

Unfortunately the waitress recommended the chicken friend steak and it was full of gristle. Won't order again. My husband had the pot roast and he said it was quite tasty. Overall probably a good place for breakfast only. They do not have sweet tea! A big disappointment in a southern town!

Home cooked southern food is delicious, but go for the pie. The only thing to remember is that the Blue Bonnet does NOT take plastic, no exceptions. The folks there do, however, take checks!

This old fashion cafe knows now to make a great breakfast! Whenever I am in town, I am sure to stop here for some thick slices of French toast or some crispy bacon. I have had cravings for this place for a long time, too bad I don't live closer. It's got a retro look and atmosphere. It always seems... More

We went here on a Friday. Early for dinner (5:30). No line, got right in. Service was spotty. Had to ask 2 or 3 times for everything from our bread to drink refills. I had a veggie plate with a salad, fried okra, soup of the day (chicken tortilla) and green beans. All of it was good. The corn muffins... More
