Excellent Food

Food was excellent. Service was not fast. Waitresses were very friendly, but not very attentive. Very good overall experience.

While visiting my family, we decided to check this place out. No one greeted us and there wasn't a sign about waiting to be seated. We started towards a table and realized it hadn't been cleaned yet and felt like we had to stand there until someone finally approached us about seating. After taking our orders, we waited 45 minutes... More

I am so sorry for your bad experience here. I know where you were sitting because I was in the kitchen helping cook because of how busy we were. Usually, Tuesdays are busy but that day was extra busy because of the 100s of sponsors/people in town for Lake Fest. It is Marble Falls busiest event of the whole year.... More

Food was fair. We had pulled pork tacos and they tasted good but there was very little meat on it. We also ordered some chili cheese fries and those too were good but a regular is very small. Service is good

We showed up hungry at 9 pm and they kept the kitchen open for us! We were greeted with a friendly smile and were treated like family. (this was our first visit). Live music was fantastic and the server wasn't on top of you bugging you all the time.. was nice change. We had simple burgers and they were fantastic!

We went to the R Bar on a Thursday at around 6:00. No one greeted us so we kind of just looked around and sat at a table that appeared to be available. The only 2 that appeared to be working there were behind the bar. After about 10 minutes, I loudly said "I guess they just don't care". Finally... More

This place has fantastic food! Definitely very casual. Three of us chose something a little out of our comfort zone and were soooo pleased. Such good flavors!! My daughter also said her hamburger was the best she's ever had. My family and I just happened upon this restaurant as we drove through town. The deck looked so inviting and the... More

The atmosphere was great, the music was awesome, food pretty good but the server Patrick was just down right rude to us, other customers, and even the band members. I was with a few other friends and anytime we asked for another drink or to place an order for another appetizer it was if we were putting him out. One... More

Hi There! I am the owner of the R-Grill. Reading this review upset me & there is no excuse for a bad attitude in customer service. The server is no longer employed here & I apologize for his behavior. I hope that you will come back & give us try! Rae More

Just a few blocks off the highway, and worth stopping at on your road trip through town. We were here for lunch on Memorial Day weekend and it wasn't too crowded. Our server was attentive and the food delicious (I had the Tejas Pulled Pork Sandwich). Outdoor patio seating was perfect for us because our 1-yr-old could drop food on... More

I love the R Bar. So casual yet so good. Only one complaint. I was there on St. Patrick's Day. Walked in about 8:15 and asked for a menu and was told the kitchen was closed. I understand closing the kitchen early on slow nights, but St. Patrick's Day? Other than that, I've never had a bad experience.

We stopped in here for a beer and sat on the patio. Beautiful night to sit and watch the world go by. Service was a bit slow but that was because it was really crowded for a Wednesday night. We shared fajitas nachos that were fantastic. A very good looking menu and I want to go back and try it... More
