good value for the area

food is pretty good and the prices are very fair. It is a good casual option to the restaurant at the Gage Hotel.

Amazing old soda fountain type place. Small seating outdoors. Extensive menu. Very pleasant server. Near old and lovely hotel.

The food is good and the price is good, but the woman waitress was the most rude person I came in contact with in Marathon February 22, 2015. I asked a question about a location and she yelled at me that "it is none of your business". I asked her a question about the nearby Gage hotel and again she... More

My wife and I both had the burgers. Fresh, not frozen. Cooked to order with fresh trimmings. Delicious lunch. Not over priced. Fun little place to eat.

While staying at the Gage Hotel in town, we came here for a full breakfast. We were met with big smiles, lots of coffee and a tasty classic breakfast. Great small-town ambiance. We were offered to-go coffee and water for the road at no charge. The head lady there is charming. $19 plus tip.

You won't find many lunch options way out in Marathon, Texas. Johnny B's is more low key than the Gage Hotel next door, which isn't open for lunch anyway. It has a rustic diner atmosphere, which was all we needed today. Johnny B's normally isn't open on Thursdays, but this was their first stab at it. There must still be... More

They have lots of traditional breakfast choices, which we enjoyed. The service was ok, but it was crowded Christmas Eve so we had to go to the front to get our bill.

I stopped in for a hot breakfast after an early departure from Big Bend. Cozy dive, old fasion small town feel, and delicious charizo con huevos, beans, and a fresh tortilla.

Nothing fancy...but good food with small town ambiance. Right on main street with a few cool little shops to check out. Be sure to walk the couple of back streets to see some unique places.

This is a wonderful place to eat breakfast, but seating is limited, so you may have to wait a few minutes to get a table. The staff are great and the food is good. You never know who you might run into in this place.
