Not an easy review to complete, pretty basic set up, ok to good service, the main courses were ok but the tortilla soup was like no other one I have had in either side of the border and not Ina good way, on top of that it was almost cold. The ranchero beans, also cold. It was their anniversary... read more

So upset. Tried this place tonight. Was busy but hostess said about 20 minutes. We were waiting and I was standing near hostess stand. Had been little over 20 minutes when young man appeared at stand and seemed to be helping. The hostess asked him for the next 2 top. He has her take the couple standing next to me... More

By recommendation we were taken to this restaurant, staying in nearby Navasota. First off, a smoking section STILL in a restaurant? The stench permeated everything. The margaritas were horrible, all mix and frozen mix types-no artistry. When we asked them to make a proper margie with real fresh lime juice you would have thought we asked the bar to solve... Last minute decision to try the new location and we ended up walking out. We were immediately sat at a table but then waited 15 mins before even getting drinks. Chips tasted worse than cheap store bought and servers were rude. Won't be back.

First impression was really good. Prices average. I had cheese enchilada's. The refried beans are among the best I have ever had and the rice was really good as well. The salsa was warm and very good. the guacamole sauce was excellent and the cheese enchilada's better than average. I will be back with my wife the next trip. The... More

Spoke to the owner who told me he is moving to a new facility because his landlord has more than quadrupled his rent over the last few years. I have eaten here many times and think that their poblano fajitas is one of the best dishes served by any of the many (I drive past 8 to get here) Mexican... More

This place is a place where we used to go mostly twice a month because the prices were very affordable but unfortunately we have noticed that they have increased and increased in the course of a year, the food here is just average nothing to brag about, the salsas are good and like any other mexican restaurant they have free... Food was ok--nothing special-nothing bad. They do have a good menu with lots of choices. Service was good but a little slow.

We had not been here for a while and decided to stop by before they moved to their new facility. Now we know why they are moving. Their prices had increased a lot so they have more money to finance the new place. The food was about the same as usual. I had spinach enchiladas which were good. The men... More

We're Yankees from Pennsylvania, and when we attended the wedding of one of our Houston-based neices in early October 2013, we (I) was determined to have at least one meal of authentic Mexican food. (The stuff they serve at Taco Bell is a complete fraud, and I knew it!) Well...the bride's father and mother took the family to Rancheros for... More
