First visit to new Rancheros location

Service was great, good size menu, good margaritas. Warm but weak salsa. Queso but no meat included. Fast service. Ordered steak. Was tough and not very warm. Mexican coffee was very good. Made for me although not on the menu. Clean and not noisy restaurant. Large parking lot. Will return.

Since we had not been in the new Resturant, we thought we would try it. Well needless to say, we waited 10 minutes for our chips, salsa and drinks. We finally got up and left, If they were real busy I could understand, there was not more than 20 people in the whole place. WE WILL NOT GO BACK. We... More

The food was just OK....standard Mexican fare in the area, better than a few but not as good as most. They are, however, a bit pricier than most. The horrible service was the killer. Staff allowed two young (probably between 2 and 4 years old) children to run screaming around the restaurant, bumping people (including me and my dining companions),... More

The food was more or less average Mexican. Not particularly bad, but not good either. They did not have enough staff on-hand for the crowd, so service was mediocre as well.

Not an easy review to complete, pretty basic set up, ok to good service, the main courses were ok but the tortilla soup was like no other one I have had in either side of the border and not Ina good way, on top of that it was almost cold. The ranchero beans, also cold. It was their anniversary, so... More

So upset. Tried this place tonight. Was busy but hostess said about 20 minutes. We were waiting and I was standing near hostess stand. Had been little over 20 minutes when young man appeared at stand and seemed to be helping. The hostess asked him for the next 2 top. He has her take the couple standing next to me... More

By recommendation we were taken to this restaurant, staying in nearby Navasota. First off, a smoking section STILL in a restaurant? The stench permeated everything. The margaritas were horrible, all mix and frozen mix types-no artistry. When we asked them to make a proper margie with real fresh lime juice you would have thought we asked the bar to solve... Last minute decision to try the new location and we ended up walking out. We were immediately sat at a table but then waited 15 mins before even getting drinks. Chips tasted worse than cheap store bought and servers were rude. Won't be back.

First impression was really good. Prices average. I had cheese enchilada's. The refried beans are among the best I have ever had and the rice was really good as well. The salsa was warm and very good. the guacamole sauce was excellent and the cheese enchilada's better than average. I will be back with my wife the next trip. The... More

Spoke to the owner who told me he is moving to a new facility because his landlord has more than quadrupled his rent over the last few years. I have eaten here many times and think that their poblano fajitas is one of the best dishes served by any of the many (I drive past 8 to get here) Mexican... More
