Great Food and Service

Ordered from our hotel and went and picked up. We had hamburgers and frys which were done perfectly. If we are ever back in the area we will return for a full meal.

Arrived after a long day of driving at our Holiday Inn Express in Lufkin Texas and did not want to drive anywhere in the dark in a strange city. Lucky for us the hotel desk directed us to a short walk to where we got lucky again and met Lucky the owner, bartender, part time cook of The Hole in... More

Checked into the Hampton Inn after a long day on the road. Walked here to avoid another drive. I expected Danny's with beer and got a very nice restaurant instead. You enter thru a cheap hotel lobby but the restaurant is the real deal. Only downside is that they use paper and pen to do everything which slowed service. An... More

Nice atmosphere and place to meet up with friends or work colleaques. Like a tack room...The drinks are generous and food exotic for Lufkin. A bit ambitious in certain dishes like their guacamole with blue cheese but I guess that why people like it. Myself, I believe the simplest meals are the best. Unfortunately the three times I have eaten... More

We stayed in the hotel across the street so an easy decision. First issue was never told us that they were out of some entrees. Of course we ordered what they didn't have so back to the drawing board. My wife didn't see another entree that she liked so ordered a cheeseburger. Unfortunately waiter had to come back and say... Very unassuming place attached to the local hotel. I got in about 7pm and had a wonderful meal. The salad with house dressing was good, the mahi-mahi was great. The bread pudding for dessert finished a very nice meal. Worth the stop.

This place is fantastic!!! My mind is still trying to wrap around what just happened. You've got to get here!! Great food, great service, and the atmosphere will through you for a loop. It's in the lobby of what looks to be a no tell motel.

Quick bite but worth it. I was waiting on friends to stop by for a night out. Decided to try the gumbo. Worth the try. Very flavorful. Friendly staff and a nice sized menu.

I was staying at the Comfort Suites and was looking for a place to get a drink, I walked up to the door and was holding breath as I opened the door. Much to my surprise very clean very nice. This restaurant needs to break away for the hotel it is attached to, it gives the restaurant a false image.... More

My wife and I are locals and this is our favorite restaurant. Small and intimate setting, with great food prepared interesting ways. Well stocked bar and excellent service.
