Our waitress, Alexis, was very friendly and quick with service. Really enjoyed her company and conversing with her (and sharing some stories from the road)! The food menu was limited but still a decent selection and our meals were out of this world. The bartender kept our drinks coming (as requested!) and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable.

Try the owners recipe of bourbon beef , corn pudding and oyster nachos..(in season) , the menu has various excellent selections including shrimp and grits . Excellent food and up-scale in a small town.

Dined here at the recommendation of someone. It is conveniently located and is similar in design to many restaurants located off the lobby of a motel. The decor is tired as I sense it is original and needs to be refresh ended. The menu is deep enough in choices and my sense is that everything is prepared fairly well. Unfortunately... More

Waited at door for 3 minutes to be seated. Table was dirty. Understaffed. Appetizer was a joke. Not worth the $8. Convenient to Hampton Inn but not worth it. Stover salad was pretty good though. Just bad service.

I've eaten here numerous times and had good meals. Nothing like a great dinner in a city, but a good meal. Tonight I tried the pasta primavera with truffle oil, and it was one of the best dishes I've had. If you order grilled fish, specify a short cook unless you like yours well done. Salads are very nice. Wine... More

Second time to this unexpected place. Located at a budget hotel it would be hard to miss. The pasta entree was fresh, light, and flavorful. The shrimp and grits were equally great. Friend had chicken fried tuna and loved it. Will go back.

My wife and I go here regularly for date night. Best steaks in the area. Excellent food. A little pricey, but worth it. Nice, pleasant atmosphere. Make sure you make a reservation though, especially on weekends or special days.

Six of us went without reservation on Monday and back again on Wednesday. this unassuming restaurant is loacted amid the cluster of hotels on the southside of Lufkin. The service the first night was great with an attentive young woman. The second night we had a waiter who seemed to be distracted. Both times the food was great. They can... More

The fist time my husband and I tried to eat here, we waited at the front by a sign that said please wait to be seated for about 15 minutes without anyone greeting us. The restaurant was not busy, so I couldn't understand what was going on. I was able to talk my husband into going back, and made a... More

Do NOT let the fact that this little restaurant is located in the Quality Inn fool you. The ambience was nice, the service lovely, and the food was good. My only issue was the wine list - mostly cheap dregs like nasty Yellow Tail (ewwww) and its ilk that were way over priced - when you can buy an entire... More
