The restaurant was located conveniently by the Best Western, and we were told that it was the best non-fastfood restaurant for families with small and energetic children. The kids were fine, and the food was average. It served its purpose.

This restaurant had great service and food. The waitress was very friendly and took time to answer all of our questions about how the food was prepared. They have fried and broiled meals and lots of home cooked vegetables. This place has something for everyone. We stopped on a Sunday and although there were a lot of folks coming in... More

It actually shared the parking lot with the Best Western we were staying at. Our only disappointment-they don't serve breakfast. They don't even open until 11am! Everything we had there was good. Tasty, warm rolls come complimentary with every meal and it was easy to make a yummy lunch with either soup or salad and the rolls. We were in... More

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Lufkin. The new beef stew is delicious. The meat is tender and melts in your mouth. I loved the fried green tomatoes when they were in season. I averaged two orders weekly. The new cheese sticks are wonderful. I was doubtful about liking them, but they are delicious. The service... More

We eat here fairly often. The food is always good and lots of choices. I recommend the chicken and dumplings, they are excellent. I do not recommend the fried green tomatoes however, lol! The atmosphere is very country and has a local touch. The service is almost always good as well. Rolls with every meal make a nice touch, always... More

We ate here with a family member and the service was good. Plenty to eat and it was fresh. The rolls were hot enough to melt the butter and were oh so good.

We go here quite often and are always well satisfied with the experience! Food is consistently good! We especially like the Baked Potato Soup and Peach Cobbler with Bluebell ice cream! The wait staff is always very attentive and helpful! The Monday night chicken fried specials are a great value!

This is quaint little place that is a cuter denny's or shari's. homestyle food fair priced, clean, but nothing to wow you. just basic food and sometimes that is good.

Little to no wait was great. Waiter (James) was very up to date as far as their gluten free menu. Wife was very happy because she must maintain a very strict diet. Thumbs up for the waiter and the Cotton Patch

We stopped at the Cotton Patch on the way to SFA in Nacodoches. We had quick service and our food was hot and delicious. The basic hamburger was good and the Shiner Bock battered fish was light. The fish inside the breading was a little thin, but it was good. They missed completing our order correctly by providing regular fries... More
