Ralph and Kacoo's is a must if you're visiting Lufkin, Tx- I don't really like Cajun food, but there are many more offerings on the menu--the bread is some of the best I've ever eaten- worth the trip just for the bread. On Sundays they serve Chicken and Dressing- I make really good chicken and dressing and this is just... More

Yes the food is great. I don't eat there often however. It's the outside seating area that keeps me coming back. Great atmosphere with live music. Awesome way to enjoy drinks. Wonderful way to enjoy a nice Texas evening... Year round!

If you grew up eating fresh seafood you will not like it much. It's just frozen seafood warmed up. I found it expensive for what you got. I don't plan on going back. It's already had three chances to impress me, ordering completely different things each time.

Here is a touch of Louisiana in a Texas town. Love the variety of Louisiana food without going across the boarder. The atmosphere is great along with the food.

We were staying at a hotel not too far from this restaurant and it looked nice so we stopped. The interior is fabulous. Looks like a five star operation in Dallas, Texas. However that is where "it" ends. Our young female waitress must have had her mind in some far away land as she was not at all interested in... More

We have eaten at Ralph & Kacoo's twice in the past month and have been very pleased. I have had the sirloin strip steak and the rib-eye steak, and both were cooked exactly to order & were very tasty. The only thing about the steaks is the seasoned butter that is slathered on just before they come off the grill---it... More

I had a very good piece of salmon, more cooked than I usually have it, but I didn't specify when ordering. Lots of food...so didn't try desserts. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The food here is good, especially the rolls, green beans and Cajun baked potato. I was a little disappointed with our seafood dishes. They were short on spices which is certainly not typical of Cajun food. We had the traditional bread pudding with bourbon sauce for dessert. It was good but far from the best I've ever had. Service was... More

We decided to eat here as it was walking distance from our hotel. It was a good decision. The restaurant had great personality. There were many aquariums, both fish and turtle, throughout the restaurant. The staff was pleasant and professional and the restaurant was clean and very attractive. Our food was good but not exceptional but the portions were very... More
