I had a very good piece of salmon, more cooked than I usually have it, but I didn't specify when ordering. Lots of food...so didn't try desserts. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The food here is good, especially the rolls, green beans and Cajun baked potato. I was a little disappointed with our seafood dishes. They were short on spices which is certainly not typical of Cajun food. We had the traditional bread pudding with bourbon sauce for dessert. It was good but far from the best I've ever had. Service was... More

We decided to eat here as it was walking distance from our hotel. It was a good decision. The restaurant had great personality. There were many aquariums, both fish and turtle, throughout the restaurant. The staff was pleasant and professional and the restaurant was clean and very attractive. Our food was good but not exceptional but the portions were very... More

Best restaurant in 100 miles. Really good food. Try their specials. Fried crawfish my favorite. If they could do anything better it would be have more generosity on sauces. Hot rolls to die for.

My friends and I go to this restaurant about twice a month. The food is delicious and the staff is always friendly and efficient. The lunch specials are an especially good value!

Ralph and Kacoos's has the best lunch special in Lufkin with their $6.99 Chicken Fried Steak with gravy, Cajun Potato, green beans and rolls. The rolls are huge and very tasty. I can only eat one. My last visit I also tried the fried crab claws which were kind of small and overpriced but, they tasted good. The white chocolate... More

I ordered the seafood platter and they brought me the seafood sampler so I had to send it back. For advertising as a Cajun seafood restaurant the food was not seasoned. Except for the stuffed crab non of the food had any real flavor

Service was excellent, clean, great atmosphere. The Happy Hour only applies to the bar area. However, the food was average tasting. The Garmberetti chicken lemon wine sauce was bland, artichoke heart were two, the size of a pea, no mushrooms and the shrimp, the ones you find in a can. Like the chicken, the Atchafalaya fish was over cooked to... More

I had the Redfish Pontchartrain. Oooolala, it was good. The bread before the meal was also good and fresh. My husband had the bowl of gumbo and a salad. The servings were large so we left stuffed. Great meal. This was our first time at this small chain restaurant. We'll be back.
